  1. William Perry

My kids love this but I actually bought it for me. Kind of cheesy. Buy it for the kids, not adults or even teens. They will be disappointed.

  2. Ray P.

This racing game is good and it’s fun also. No, it’s not as good as Mario Kart, but it is similar and handles the same way. You can shoot bombs, missiles and other things at your opponents. I was happy with it. The controls are relatively easy to handle also.

  3. CK shopping

Not particularly challenging — too bad this was the only NASCAR release by EA for the year, BUT my six year old really seems to enjoy it. Best of all the kart games I’ve seen.

  4. Susie B.

    Fun

  5. Slick

The game is more action-packed than Mario Kart. The speed is higher, but there are flaws.1. Tracks- there are only a dozen tracks, and you’ll get bored with them.2. Power-ups- People say they’re a rip-off of the Mario Kart games, but SEGA did the same thing with Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing. But there isn’t much variety of power-ups in NASCAR KART RACING.3. Once you beat it, it isn’t fun anymore.Overall, The game is good, they need more tracks and car selection, though. But if you want good racing, this game is good. :)

  6. Warren K.

This game really surprised me. I did not like previous Nascar games as sometimes they were too touchy with the controls. This game however is more arcade style where you can bounce off other drivers nicely and keep going without spinning out and putting you a half lap down before you can hit the gas again. The tracks were very different than expected as well and that was a good thing for this game. I would highly recommend this game if you are a fan of racing games, if you want an arcade style feel racing game, or if you want an alternative to Mario Kart. If you want more of a Nascar simulation game look elsewhere.

  7. J. Thomason

This game is not your typical NASCAR game but it is very fun. If you enjoy Mario kart you’ll love this. I was shocked at how much fun it was.

  8. Daniel

    Kids love it.

  9. Rabbit

I don’t really like nascar and didn’t expect to like this game, but I think it’s awesome. The controls are nice and it’s a lot of fun! I love having a partner in the races and being able to get boosts from them. The items are neat, too. I had more fun playing this game than mario kart because I didn’t feel like the computer was going to be on my bumper regardless of what I do to them. It actual feels like you’re playing with other players when you’re playing against the computer.

I was looking for an alternative to Mario Kart that wasn’t as expensive… this game is equally as fun with some very cool additional features specific to the NASCAR world. The ‘in the zone’ feature is very fun along with the boosts. I have only had it for a few days but have found it very fun and still pretty challenging. The cartoon nature really gives it the good ‘ol video game feel – which I particularly prefer – why did we all of the sudden get so caught up on wanting our games to look like reality – if I wanted to drive a real car and be held to the limitation of reality, I would just drive to the grocery store. Being able to launch rockets, throw oil, and hit boosters are some of the fun treats that this fun, affordable game offers. I definitely recommend!
