NBA 2K11 with no doubts is the best basketball video game one will ever play. From the graphics to the presentation and everything that is in between (which is a lot) is absolutely incredible. Games modes are fantastic, huge variety makes this game very enjoyable and one will never be bored. In association mode you take a take, good or bad, and do all the necessary decisions, like trading, drafting, workouts, and much more, to make the team successful. My Player seems to be everyones favorite mode, as well it should be. In My Player you build your own player and play in draft games before you get drafted to a team. To get drafted in a respectful spot you’ll have to play great in draft games. After you are drafted to a team the journey begins. Everything here is much harder, that is why when getting skill points, by playing games and doing drills, you should spend them very wisely. That would probably be the best advice to all new My Player players. And not to forget, the Jordan Challenge. In this mode you get to relive 10 of MJ’s greatest moments. After completing all 10 games you get Michael Jordan as a rookie and assign him to any team and from there you get to rebuild him and make him the greatest player.. again. There are more modes to play but these are the main ones that will take long hours to complete. Also for those who like to challenge other players around the world can do this with the Online mode. You can play either just you and someone else, or play up to 10 pe.

Challenging basketball game that is harder to shoot and play D than in earlier B-ball games, but 2K11 does have good graphics. Some players and coaches look EXACTLY like they do on TV and others are a little off, but most look pretty realistic. The commentary is informative to the casual fan and does provide insight into each team’s 2009-2010 season. The dialogue does follow the flow of the game (unlike the occasional Madden glitch) but the commentary does not change very much and gets somewhat tiresome if you play a lot. I like the old 80’s and 90’s teams, and there is a lot of different styles of play to choose from (some more arcade-like, others, more realistic). Overall a good game, not ground breaking by any means, but a solid offering from 2k Sports.

I do have nba2k12 now, but this game is still worth having and keeping. The Jordan Challenges are so fun and, yes, challenging. It really gives you a feel for how he really played and you can do everything he did. Incredibly fun to play. These games are simulations and take a lot of playing time to where you can be good at them but once you have played a few games and have gotten an idea of how to play efficiently and correctly, it’s just a wonder. NBA2k12 is more updated and is a good bit more realistic with gameplay and graphics, but 2k11 is more fun to play because it’s easier to get a grasp on and play. You’re faulted less for your mistakes as it’s less realistic. You can make passes that you never would be able to in real life but it makes it fun because not everyone understands basketball to know exactly how and when a pass needs to be done. This game is worth having if for no other reason than the Jordan Challenge modes and the Jordan: Creating A Legend mode. Incredibly fun. I played it for literally days on end and still never even had a chance to play the seasons, association mode, or just play a bunch of exhibition games. Very fun. 10/10

There were so many things I liked about NBA 2K11. First thing was that I could Michael Jordan on the Bulls team with Derrick Rose, and play with old school players like Wilt Chamberlain, and Magic Johnson. The game was wonderful, and is still better than 2k12 or 2k13. Also, the price was right too, the packaging was immaculate, and thank you retrolio for that as well.

I love this game, pros: it is very very very challenging though i really like how much there is too this game i own Nba 2k11 for the xbox 360 it looks very real graphics are incredible cons : it lags quite often the game itself is sometimes slow when rewinding a replay it looks like a dvd thats been scratched so bad that its skipping and it lags weird when zooming into the players faces, i think the idea of Nba 2k11 is amazing and it truly ahead of its time and a great leap in the 2k series Nba 2k10 was a typical 2k game Nba 2k11 is a huge jump up it has literally everything the sounds and faces are incredible it even shows your highlights after the game is over, i truly love that feature all in all this game is a definite 5 and the best game i have ever owned, im a huge jordan fan and for all the jordan fans out there this game is revolved around him i wish it made jordan more fluid and move like he did on the court. his shot is good but his dunks are crap its like a combo of shaq and paul peirce but all in all this is the best game ever i highly recommend buying this game

Compared to all previous NBA 2K games, the pure gameplay and graphics are superior. Michael Jordan fans will find the "Jordan Challenges" fun yet difficult to accomplish. There are only two downsides to this game: the shot stick and "My Player" mode. The shot stick is only a problem as a beginner. You’ll need at least an hour of practice in games on difficulty "Pro" or higher to properly be able to know how the shot stick works. The "My Player" mode as a plethora of annoyances. It’s difficult to make a character’s face that doesn’t either look asian or black. You get penalized for when your team loses and you played maybe a minute in the game yourself. The drills are extremely difficult with your beginning skills except the shooting drill, which is easy but glitches with its reward when you get a gold medal. When playing in a game, the computer doesn’t know what a "good" or "bad" shot selection is. When one of your teammates screws up and doesn’t guard his man and their open man walks pass you, you’re assigned to defend him, leaving your original man wide open while your teammate Never covers your man but goes back to his; you get harshly penalized for this. If you don’t have the patience for four season, 82 games each season without any playoff appearances, losing records, and games where you want to pull your hair out, don’t play the "My Player" mode in this game.

I’ve had NBA 2K11 for few months now and I enjoy playing it. The controls are decent for what it is, I don’t expect perfection since it’s only a game. I mainly play the “My Player” mode where you develop your character with skill points made from drills and games. It’s very playable and I’ve gotten into the game to make my player better. Most important thing is to learn how to shoot, using the right thumbstick. You’ll get better as you play and you’ll have a great time playing alone, online or with friends. This is a good buy. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because your teammates act stupid most of the time and unless the ball is in your hands, they make stupid decision.

NBA 2k always seems to improve with every year that goes by. The developers know what us fans want and they deliver. With all the new features and game modes, its an impossibility to ever get board of this game. The Jordan challenge mode allows you to relive the 10 most memorable and legendary games in Michael Jordan’s career. Once you have completed this game mode you can unlock the MJ: Creating a Legend mode. The Jordan challenge mode is fun and definitely challenging. After all, its not easy being Michael Jordan. Seeing that there are so many game modes, ill discuss one more main mode, which is the my player mode, the rest you’ll have to experience for yourself. They took this game mode to another level for sure. Not only can you live the full NBA experience on the court, but in the conference room where you’ll be asked questions that will affect your league wide popularity, teammates chemistry and fan support depending on how you answer. Also what makes this mode more full and well rounded is being able to have endorsements and trade requests. All this adds a better experience to the game itself. The isomotion dribbling controls are amazing. They give a smooth and realistic feel to your moves on the court. These diverse controls offers a fantastic experience to the game play. Lastly, ill talk about the truly epic graphics which makes this game all the more better. I was shocked by how amazing these graphics looked. What impressed me the most was the facial expressions and.
