It does work. I don’t think it’s fun to play it. I got tired of it fast and my son stopped playing long time ago. But what I did notice was that his ball handling did change a bit. He’s able to use change of rhythm to "break ankle" if I were to use his term lol. Yeah, I do have tougher time stopping his drive to the basket.

My son (13) and daughter (14) use this game daily to work on their ball handling skills for high school and city basketball. Great challenges and realistic improvement goals. Both fun and instructional.

Lets get the so called “negatives” of this game out of the way immediately: – “You need a lot of space” So many reviews on gaming sites usually criticize the fact you need a lot of space for Kinect games. Duh! Isn’t that the whole purpose of Kinect? It tracks the whole body. Besides if you are a good ball handler it surprising how little space you actually need. – “You could break something when dribbling the ball in front of the TV, Kinect, XBOX, expensive China set (you did not remove) etc…” Theoretically yes. In practice I don’t think this will happen a lot (if at all). Ball usually slides down and just bounces off low if you lose a handle. “Around the world” move has a bit of potential to let the ball flying high, but if you take the common sense precautions (remember to hide the China set) you should be fine- “Dribbling the ball is a laud activity”. Yeah. True. I guess if you live in apartment above someone’s head or your family members disapprove you might not be able to play it. Which is really a shame. As I said below…niche market for this one.- “Could have more tracks, “story mode”, more moves/tricks, more game modes when compared to the top rated rhythm games of today.” As far as I am concerned it’s a miracle this game was approved considering the niche market and the fact a lot of people will simply dismiss it due to fact they think it’s ridiculous to dribble the ball in front of the TV. The game is really a rounded up completed product with nice set of feature.

We got this game for our kids, both of whom play on basketball teams. This game is fun and develops dribbling skills that will help in real basketball games! The thing I like best is it forces you to look up while dribbling, so you know what you have to do next. That is exactly what you need to do in a real game situation. It’s also a great workout for parents – especially those who haven’t played basketball since high school!

Good product and service from your company. Timely response in shipping product and good price for the item that was sent. Just sorry it didn’t note in descrip time that it didn’t include the ball. Somewhat of a disappointment because of that but otherwise, good item.

I’m baffled with the so-called journalist reviews. They all hammer the game because of two reasons 1) I can’t play basketball, what a terrible idea, who would want to play this? and/or 2) I live in an apartment, my downstairs neighbors would kill me! I can’t play this! Those aren’t reviews on the gameplay, the experience, or the quality, they are reviews on the environmental or skill needs, which apparently most reviews lack severely. As someone who used to play a lot of ball, and was a decent player, this is one of the most amazing games I’ve played. The tracking is better than anything I’ve seen with Kinect, the moves and execution is terrific, the soundtrack is solid, the presentation is nice, and now that it’s under $30 most places AND includes an indoor/outdoor ball, this is a tremendous value. While I have only used it on a carpeted second floor (and it worked great) I’m curious to try a lightweight ball that won’t “thud” on the carpet as hard. The game says they support just about any ball, any color, except for black. So if you have even a little bit of basketball ability, and the idea of a rhythm game doesn’t personally offend you, I can’t recommend this game highly enough. Been a lot of fun to play. If I were to craft any complaints, it would be that I would love to download additional songs to add to the soundtrack, which they don’t offer. I think before sales were so bad, that was the plan, as there are references to it on the box and in the game. I commend the dev.
