When I first heard this game was coming out for the Wii, I initially thought to myself, “Finally, Nintendo is thinking of people like me.” I played this game all the time for SNES and at the arcade when I went to the mall. I still have the college version of the game for the SNES and played it with my 5-year old. I read other reviews where people are complaining about the graphics compared to the PS3 or X-Box, the fact you cannot play online, or other grievances the game does not have. These people, it seems to me, are spoiled, arrogant people who have always been given whatever they wanted. These people can never be satisfied with what it given to them, but must find something to complain about no matter what it is. Sure, the game would be fun to play with someone online, but it’s not a reason to give a bad review because it’s not there. I think you should review games based on what’s there, instead of what is not. This Wii version is everything I remember and a whole lot more. The graphics are amazing for the Wii and brings to life each player. The gameplay is what makes this game so enjoyable, because there are so many formats to play. The quick game gets you to pick a team to play with and you only get to play one game at a time. This is good if you want to get used to the game or want to see which teams suits you best. The Classic Campaign is just as it says it is, it is just like the original game. You choose one team and play as that team against all the other t.

Im 32 years old we used to play this game at a gas station across from school when I was a kid. This still holds up as an awesone game and brings back memories. The current players and new game modes give it a twist that’s awesome. This game its a must have.

ok, this game is amazing, NBA JAM is a classic, and they took the best parts of it and added more, the game is tons of fun, and although the game is extremely simple, with the new remix tour along with classic campaign the game is amazing. no, there isnt online play, which is a major blow, but the game is still tons of fun and thats what this review is about.

It’s back and still loads of fun! But it ends there… nothing new and still gets old after a while but still the best arcade basketball game ever created!!

I grew up playing this game in the Arcades, and eventually had this game for snes, genesis, gameboy, playstation n64, dreamcast, ps2 and xbox. When I found out that this game was coming out again I was so excited. I can tell you that this game is probably better than the arcade versions of the past! Great graphics, awesome sound and great controlls. I also played this same game for ps3 and xbox 360, and to tell you the truth, I like the wii version the best because of the controlls. I like the way this game works with the classic controller pro as well as the wiimotes. Alot of teams, Unlockable content, planty of secrets!! One of the best games on the Wii hands down!

I had the Super NES version of game long ago. I found this by mistake but glad I did. This version of the game holds true o the original. the game play is pretty much the same with a few nice additions. the graphics are good enough because the game play is whats important. There are additional voice overs, additional player moves, and game modes as well. I found you also unlock additional older players among other things. This game works on both the Wii and the WiiU. You can only use the original Wii controller. Game controls can be used like a traditional controller holding it sideways or adding the nun-chuck via motion control. I find holding it traditional style is easier for me but find hitting the B button slightly difficult but not enough to ruin the experience for me.when playing the game, any amount of players can join in at the end of each quarter and not have to wait until the end of the game. you can also change your players at the end of each quarter as well, so it gives flexibly. Yes using a pro-control or the game pad would be nice but its a Wii game. There is no online play but who cares, these games are best played with buddies next to you.

Due to their mediocre reviews, I have avoided playing the NBA Jam games released in between the old SNES game and this version for the Wii. After reading good reviews, I was hopeful that this game would be a faithful followup to the original while still modernizing the game at the same time. The developers of the game were very successful at achieving this. The graphics look good, nothing mind blowing, but solid while still keeping the character of the original game. I’ve been playing using the classic controller and the game plays almost exactly how I would have expected it to. The game is fast paced, outrageous, over the top, maybe a little unfair at times, and overall a blast to play. The game features the old campaign mode from the original plus several new modes so there’s plenty to keep you coming back to the game. I haven’t had the chance to play the game multiplayer but I’m sure it’s a blast. The sound is just like the original and it fits the game perfectly. If you enjoyed NBA Jam back in the day, you will have a blast with this game. It’s everything you remember that was so fun about the original plus more.

Having been an owner and fan of the original NBA jam on my old Nintendo SNES back-in-the-day, I was pretty excited to see a new version of the game finally see production. Now I am married with kids and they have a Wii, so I ordered this game for my son, whom I looked forward to playing this game with. This game arrived a little over a week ago, and I’ve spent a good number of hours playing it.The good news: Everything that I loved about the original game is still there: the wild dunks, the comical commentary, the rough two-on-two play, the big-head mode. The bad news: The graphics are little-changed from the past version and go nowhere near taking full advantage of the higher processing power of the latest consoles. The game also lacks many new features that are actually fun to play.Am I disappointed by this game? Yes, a little bit. I was expecting a steak and got a hamburger. The game satisfied my basic desire but failed to go any further. It is still a very fun game to play – especially with multiple people playing. The announcer’s comments have been expanded and are better than ever. The game play is pretty easy to learn (courtesy of the built-in tutorial which you SHOULD use). The on-court antics are still exciting and as much fun to watch as they are to pull-off. Still, I wasn’t as satisfied with the game as I had hoped to be. If you had fun with the original game, you’ll have fun with this one, too, and the nostalgia is probably going to be enough for you to consider th.
