This game is great. I bought it used and there were no problems with it. My only complaint is that the manual for the game was not in the case. But with the internet, you can basically find anything, so its been fine.
I first purchased NBA 2K9 and the game was good but they really messed up the online play from last year. I think they did a horrible job. I traded the game in for NBA Live 09 and I have to say I was not disappointed. I actually think the game is better than NBA 2K9. The graphics are good and the game is way more fun. I have to say I haven’t bought a NBA Live game since NBA Live 05 so I wasn’t a fan for a few years. NBA 2K9 made me go back to NBA Live 09. I am happy I did. The Live 365 feature is really hot. They also have a practice where a trainer helps you work on your weaknesses. Get this game. You will not be disappointed. The online play is great. Way better then NBA 2K9.

Let me start off by saying this game is one of the best basketball games ever i bought this game like last year or the year before last i like it a lot. The graphics are great and the gameplay is great. I love this game. If you don’t already have this game and you are a big fan of the franchise buy this game you will not be disappointed.

I purchased this game for Christmas and it’s been a blast. A little harder than my other basketball game (’02) but definitely fun.
This was a gift for my daughter, I had purchased this before but after I while somehow it got messed up so to get this again for her and at a wonderful price…SHE loves it and so do I. She plays this everyday and all day…..Keeps me from wondering where she is…cause she is at home playing this game…I got it at a great price and in a timely manner…Again thanks retrolio!!!!!!

This is by far the best basketball game I have ever played. EA Sports definetly did a great job adding new features like pick and roll controls and quickstrike anklebreakers are the best. The only issues I have with the game is that the defense is slow to non reactive at times, there are morphing issues with player bodies, and the quickstrike anklebreakers are not individualized all the players will have the same crossover etc. All in all the game is the best and I play for hours until I can’t see straight. Great GAME!!!!!!1
This game is super kool, because of how it looks and the gameplay is more easier than de 2k…..plus the new feature of EA called DNA is kool because it get your game updated about the level the players are playing, and that is kool because some games of any sports have players that were good and have good numbers on their abilities but in the real life in present time their level had get down or up.The only recommendation I do to EA is to make the scorebar more big, because is a little difficult to read the score, time, and stats that appear in this area at first view.

How do we rate NBA Live? I purchased this game for my 12-year-old son, who is an avid video gamer and a sports fanatic, with basketball being his number 1 game. He and his friends absolutely love playing this game. The graphics are beautiful – at first glance it looks and sounds like a real basketball game. This game is awesome!

I have been an avid player of the NBA Live series from EA Sports. NBA Live 09 is the best game by far that EA Sports has put out in the series. From top of the line game play, to the exact way a player shoots has drawn me to really enjoy NBA Live 09.In games previous in the series the difficulty of the game was way to easy. Now when you play on the hardest level it really makes you play at the top of your game. In previous games if you just did one move the whole game you could rack up points and beat the computer. In NBA Live 09 if you keep doing the same thing the computer will catch on and stop you.Some of the new features added this year including the live up-date and team DNA have really helped the realism of the game.The one and only downside of this year’s game is that the announcers have not changed their commentary, there is some new stuff but for the most part it’s the same old stuff from last year.Overall this game is top of the line and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys the NBA Live series.

So after spending 2 hours in the store debating whether to get the All-Play, 2K, or Live for 360, I settled on the latter. Got home, popped the game in the console and was prompted to update which I did. However since I did not have a online, the OKC team does not have a nickname, a generic jersey, and a generic court. Updating the game on Xbox Live will download the Thunder nickname, jersey, and arena.Just like all of my other NBA game reviews, here is a list of things video game websites never mention in their reviews. Hope these are helpful:- There is an edit player in this game, so numbers can be edited, as well as player skills and ratings. However the edit feature is only for the NBA teams and not the FIBA teams. Juan Carlos Navarro is wearing his NBA number, #2, for Team España. FIBA only allows numbers 4-15. Other players with wrong numbers are Trevor Ariza (#1 instead of #3) and Mickeal Pietrus (#2 instead of #20) but that’s not a big deal. The NBA Live 365 updates will probably take care of those once the season begins. The FIBA is a big deal though.- Speaking of FIBA, Ricky Rubio is not on the Team España. NBA players who have never suited up for their countries for quite some time are on the rosters, therefore knocking out some real players. For instance, Z Ilgauskas (Lietuva), Steve Nash (Canada), Eddy Najera (Mexico), Peja Stojakovic (Serbia), and John Ameachi (UK) are no longer playing for their countries but are still on the rosters!- The Lietuva awa.

I have always been a fan of the live series even though they have had a bumpy road along the way I have never shifted to 2k. The new live 2010 is better but this is good also with the down-loadable updates you can have an updated roster and still receive the latest stats while playing with your favorite teams.
