I’m not much of a gamer these days, but for this one game. I have approximately 50 games and this one has yet to be dethroned. There are games that you purchase and play once or twice and then trade it in. Not this one. Most guys I know, even friends of friends, have told me that they’ve played this five or six times and won’t be trading it in anytime soon. The ones who have traded it in have ponied up the cash to purchase it again, because it is such a rush.It starts out a bit slow, but that’s for good reason. You better get familiar with the lay of the land and the shortcuts because once your name gets around, the heat is on and the cops can get extremely aggressive in taking you down. If you don’t know the streets the cops may plow you into a tree or a stone wall when you choke from making a wrong turn into a dead end street or if you flip your car while being chased through the rockport prison facility.***, SPOILER ALERT ***What’s it all about? You’re new in town with a sweet ride. There is a group of street racers in town that, in their pursuit to be the best, cause measurable damage and cost to the city. This has caught the attention of the local police departments and they want it shutdown completely. They have a task force. The head of that task force is an unorthodox skilled driver and he’s keeping tabs on you and anybody else street racing in rockport. There’s also a knucklehead who is threatened by your presence, because he figures he’s on his way to being top dog..

This game is THE best need for speed game ever made and in my opinion the only game that comes close is NFS SHIFT 2 UNLEASHED.

  5. Mike

Brings back a lot of memories, great game, AI sucks so bad though, they love to hit you and brake check you all the time. Achievements are easy and rewarding to get, you get an achievement for every blacklist you defeat, Razor gets you 350 GS! :D If you haven’t played this game, I would highly recommend it. Customization isn’t the best you can change, bodykits, spoilers, rims, hoods, roof scoops, .What sucks is that you can only have 1 vinyl. But don’t let that stop you from buying this game, it’s worth it! And it has replay value too :)

  6. BonnieStiedemann

    Highly Satisfactory

This game is realy fun and can be over looked due to the other great 360 games available now. But if you get a chance pick it up or rent it tou will not regret it. The games play is like a arcade racer like Ridge Racer. The story line is cool but I’m not a fan. The controls are good and tight like Burn Out. The wrecks are alittle fake looking but that realy dose not matter since the object of the game is to race and take the cars of your rivals. This brings me to xbox live play where you can take other players cas or cash, realy fun. The pros: graphis, sound, game play, the ability to fully customize cars from top to bottom, and steel them from other racers online. The Cons: The story is alittle boring, and the crashes look stupid.

    Love it, works great

  9. Speed Demon

This game is the sequel to NFS Underground 2, and here is the first game from the Need for Speed series with police since Hot Pursuit 2. In this, you enter the city of Rockport and begin to challenge the Blacklist 15, the 15 most wanted street racers. Number 15, Razor, sabotages your car, so after you get out of jail, you must return to the Blacklist and fight your way up to challenge Razor again, except now he’s at the top. Each time you beat a racer, you may choose 2 of 6 cards, which can include parts upgrades, get out of jail free cards, or possibly your opponent’s pink slip for his/her car.Compared to past games in the NFS series, there is a great deal of emphasis on the police pursuits rather than the racing. There are 6 levels, but level 6 is rarely seen. So most of the time you’ll be no higher than level 5, which is enough, believe me.As for the difficulty of the races and challenges, that can vary depending on challenge and circumstances. Obviously everything will be easy at the start, but there can be times where your opponents, ( be they racers or cops) act rather stupidly. One note is that I’ve tried the Black Edition of this game and the normal one, and would like to point out one thing. In the Black Edition, you are allowed to own 25 cars in career mode but are allowed only 3 under the “my cars” section for use in single race. In the standard edition, you can only own 21 cars in career mode at least 13 in “my cars.”Finally, the graphics are very good, w.
