I’ve always loved the game, but the disc can’t be read because it came horribly scratched.

I’ve played many video games, mostly racing games but none compared to this super speed most exciting racing game. Thanks retrolio.com

Had to buy it twice because the first shop put wrong game in the case, but bought it again from a different shop and that time it was the right game. Works perfect

I’ve had alot of fun playing this game. In fact, I’ve lost sleep over it. I’ll say that this was one of the best racing games to come out last year. Not as good as Forza, but then again they really arent the same “type” of race oriented gameplay. I’ll start off this review with the good:Good – The game is pretty realistic graphics wise. I dont know how exactly the graphics are on the other systems, because I havent gotten a chance to see it. They could have been a tad bit better though. The selection of cars is pretty good too. And the story is pretty good for the first time you play it. You get so eager to see what happens next that you dont want to stop.Bad – The lack of customization was a big downer for me. THeres not nearly as many opitions visually. And performance wise you dont get to pick what brand of parts you get to put on your car like in NFSU2. Also, unlike games like LA Rush this game stays in constant day time. It doesnt transition from day to night. Just like NFSU and NFSU2 didnt ever go to daytime. That would be a nice addition to it. What also sucks is that you only get to have the BMW for a short amount of time in the story. And then, after you lose it, you dont get to buy a new BMW at all in the game!!! Whats up with that? The car lots have Porsches, Lamborghinis, and every other car under the sun, but no Bimmers???!!! The main car being advertised in this game IS a BMW. So why not make them available for purchse from the dealers in the game?Another thing.

The Need for Speed series has been an EXCELLENT series from the beginning. This is no exception. NFS: Most Wanted is an excellent game. There is one problem with the game. It is very unrealistic. I am not talking about the typical NFS unrealism, I am talking about utter unrealism. The cars are tiered, the more you pay for the car stock, the faster the car is. Call me crazy, but I’m pretty sure a souped up, tuned, twin-turbo MKIV Supra can beat a stock Gallardo. This game would have you believe otherwise. Of course, this is an exaggeration, but not by much. The game makes you buy the most recent car unlocked if you want to continue on your journey of street racing and it is kind of a burden on the game. Other than the complete unfairness in the car choices, the game is amazingly fun. It is in a day time setting, which isn’t my favorite as I prefer the night settings. The police chases are fun. The storyline – well, the storyline is a typical NFS storyline. I would recommend the game to people, but if its a choice between NFS Carbon or NFS Most Wanted, I would recommend Carbon.

Play it, live it learn it. Just to good to put it in words

This is another successful installment in the Need for Speed franchise. You play a racer newly arrived in Rockport City, who loses his ride in a fixed race. To get revenge, you’ll have to gain street cred and work your way up the blacklist, the 15 toughest racers in the city.A good racing game needs solid controls and a steady framerate, and there’s plenty of both in Most Wanted. Cars are varied and handle well, and the graphics maintain a high visual standard even when your car’s at its top speed. You’ll face numerous types of races in career mode, including the standard circuit, drag races, checkpoints, and sprints. The fun is in building street cred, which requires you to tangle with the fuzz and generally go crazy on the road (remember kids, drive safe in real life!). All of this is laid out on an open-ended city, the new standard for racing games. Adding to the polish is a fully licensed sountrack, and several videos with live actors that propel the story along (Josie Maran!!)Most Wanted is definitely one of the top street racing games I’ve played, though it’s hard to say if its the best. For example, the underrated Street Racing Syndicate takes into account real car damage when you race, forcing you to pony up for repairs if you drive recklessly. In contrast, Most Wanted magically restores your car to perfection after each race. It really depends on your preference, and how much realism you want (paying for car repairs, like in real life, is a pain). Street Racing Syndi.

I love racing games…but this car game is slightly different than the normal racing games I play. It has to be one of the most intense racing type games I have ever played. It’s only downfall, to me, was it’s limited car selection (although it the ones it does have are all cool). Like any other car game, you win, get more money race harder people, buy faster cars, but the police aspect of this game is what makes it exciting, the racing is OK.
