I was a little sceptical about this game when it came out. I’m really really really glad I got it. Talkabout a great improvement on NFL Street! I love the wall moves, they rock! Not to crazy about the Own the City mode where you can only customize one player.Great game!

NFL blitz is alive and well on the PSP. Only this time it is called NFL Street 2, and it is a little fancier. First the ugly: this game takes 15 hours to load each game. Not really, but that is what it feels like when you just want to play a quick game. The other ugly thing is that it seems a bit difficult to remember what all of the buttons do. So, though it is fun to do a crazy pitch to the running back or a behind the back throw to a receiver 50 yards away, you can never remember that you now have to control the running back or the receiver with a whole new set of controls. This is seen as a positive thing by many that believe the more complex the game, the more shelf life it will have in a collection. Now, the ugly said, this game is fun enough to last forever in your game collection. Does football ever get old? Then a game that is football on steroids done pretty darn well should not either. Finally, the mini-games are worth mentioning with games of smear the queer and 500 that are just loads of fun. There are a couple of others, but the two mentioned are the only games worth much.Bottom Line: Is it fun? Get this fun football game. Will I keep it? yep. Is it for kids? Too many buttons.

Loved creating my own team. Was really a blast beating all the challenges. I like the ‘street’ style. Makes for a lot of fun. And with the Gamebreakers, adds a little bit of strategy. Enjoy!

This is a great game. Fans of the first NFL Street will love this game. There are so many new game modes and features and the online play is a lot of fun (dial-up or broadband/dsl) (Online play works surprisingly well on dial-up for PS2).The game modes include:Own the City (You create a guy and gain team members by playing pick up games. If you beat this mode, you can use your guy in NFL Challenge and in Madden 2006).NFL Challenge (This is like how the first game was. You have 150 days to make your team the best it can be by getting ability points from completing challenges. You can also add real NFL players on your team. You can use your created team online to battle other peoples online teams. Also, I think you earn points to make your players better if you win online).NFL Gauntlet (You pick a NFL team and battle all the other NFL teams. I’m sure you unlock things as you go through each team).Pickup Game (This is the old game where you pick players from NFL teams and have an exhibition match with the CPU or with some friends).Street Events (These are mini games which you can play with the CPU or with friends. Some include include:Crush the Carrier [You grab the ball and get as much points as you can get until you get tackled and the ball goes up for grabs. Whoever has the most points at the end of time limit wins]A “500” type game [CPUs throw passes awhile a group of people try to catch the balls. Whoever has the most points at the end of the time limit wins].Ope.

Yes folks, I bought NFL Street thinking it was a game for XBOX360 and it turns out that it was only usable for original Xbox only… unless Xbox 360 comes out with an update which would allow me to play this game that is. So, sadly I never got to officially play this game. However, the whole point to me purchasing this game is because I had seen this game in action while watching friends play this game and I have to say it is awesome. the graphics are pretty nice, actions in the game seemed tight, that music is not my favorite genre but I like it enough in this game to keep the sound on, and the overall fun of this game is off the charts. I mean, where else can you slam an opponent into a wall to tackle him, or where else can you pick a play in which you player runs down the field and does a summer-salt over the opposing player?? Okay, if you have ever played NFL Blitz that the closest example I’ll accept!!NFL Street is the funnest football game out there and the overall look of the game is great, I like playing the more "realistic" football games like madden 2012 or whatever, but I also dig on playing a football games that has a sense of fun to it too. Do you remember Mutant League Football for Sega Genesis? was that not a fun game to play??!! that’s what I’m talking about. Games that take you from the norms of life to a place that says "why not throw the football over your head while running in the opposite direction, why not!!".So, Play NFL street and you’ll.
