When I first started playing this game I had trouble with it. Then as I started to play more often I got better and better. This game is great if you prefer awesome smashmouth football over regular football. The tricks are totally cool and I love to break tackles and nail people. Okay, the point of this game is NFL challenge. You have to go around beating teams and earning new players and new fields! If you do good enough you can get an ultimate team and awesome fields. I have played street 2 and this is better. So come on and get this game!!!!!!

I saw the commercials for NFL street 2 days before it came out and i went down that day and reserved one got it home played it now i have used NBA STREET 1 and 2 loved them both but the challange mode in NFL STREET leaves something to be desired online gaming is awesome but if for the next one they could up the challange mode it would be unstopable

2 Thumbs WAY up!I went to the E3 convention last year with my uncle and saw Nfl Street there. I had never heard of such a title before and wasntquite sure of how good it was. When i saw that it was by EA Sports BIG, then i knew that i was in for a promise. Here are my scales from 1-5 on the specific criteria.Grapics- 5, Amazing detail for a Football Arcade Game!Sound- 4, Sound&Music again!, was put together great.Gameplay- 5, Lets Face it NBA Street was addicting,NOTHING CHANGED!Replay Value- 4, Online says it ALL!Money Value- 5, That will be answered when you buy itOverall- 4.6, You will be extremely excited in this urban culture mixed football game.Better Than: Midway’s BlitzAs Good As: Madden 2004

First off people claiming this game isn’t up to par. I highly disagree. It is what it is supposed to be. Its a great game I got it the day it came out(I was at wal-mart at 12:00am to get it). And I couldn’t be happier. I am an avid player of all the madden games don’t get me wrong, I’m not going against the greatest sports game series ever by saying this game is better. HOWEVER, it this game does have a great feel. The graphics, sound track and just the playability is just great. What I am most happy about with this entire game is the fact that it is not as easy as the NBA Street series(rented both games and had them beat before the 2nd day of the rental period).This game is just crazy. I wasn’t a big fan of the BLITZ series because they just seem way to fake and stupid(ie hits after play what fun is that… gets old). This game isn’t the best thing that has ever came out for PS2 in the sports area, but its a good change for anyone who is into sports games and like to just take a little vacation from the reality sports games.People claiming this game is too hard, and that the teams come back against you, HELLO!!!! games are not supposed to be a cakewalk, there is a level of a challenge that is supposed to be intertwined with game developement. I would recommend trying this game, and if you have like blitz and/or the STREET series you would want to try/if not buy this game. I know it was my money well spent.

i just got this game and it isnt all that good. I expected it to be like blitz but its not. The computer doesnt let you win. If you need on more point and so does the computer, it will make you fumble or something like that. The only fun I have with this game is 2 player.

Taking their successful “street” formula from their smash NBA Street series, EA Sports’ first foray into street style NFL football may be flawed, but it’s definitely fun. Featuring all the NFL teams, each with a roster featuring a handful of players that play both offense and defense, NFL Street has similarities to Midway’s NFL Blitz, but this is definitely more enjoyable. While there are some glaring omissions on team rosters (where are players like Lavar Arrington and John Runyan?), the NFL stars one would expect are here, playing both sides of the ball. The controls are amazingly simple, while the trash talk is also about as one would expect. The graphics are decent, with the various fields looking great, but the player models look very much alike. This isn’t such a drawback, but some more variety would have been nice (it’s amazing how much Peyton Manning and Brad Johnson look alike here). Stopping the opposing team from scoring isn’t easy to do at all, as the game’s are high scoring (depending on what you set the touchdown meter to) which can be a drawback as well, but despite all that, NFL Street is still pure fun. All in all, if you’ve never played NFL Street and you’re craving some smash mouth football action, look no further.

NFL Street is a great football game. If you are a football fan or just a video game player in general you’ll find something to like about this game.Pros:Awesome graphicsVery cool Create-a-playerSweet menu musicIn game music by the X-Ecutioners!!!Fast and Frantic actionSimple Controls that are easy to learnThe Multiplayer is absolutely funOnline play is fun and almost lag-free(PS2 only)Interceptions are very very coolUnlockablesCons:Way too many fumblesStyling adds almost nothing to the gameplay (Style moves are just glorified taunting moves)Playing defense is impossibleGame often spots ball wrong (often times you’ll get barely past the first down marker and the game won’t give you a first down)All in all, NFL street is extremely fun. The multiplayer is amazing and the game in general is well polished. Another great addition to the EA Big lineup.

NFL Street is great game to buy because it will keep you occupied for hours. The graphics are great. The moves you can pull off are awesome. My favorite is stiff arming. I like how u create your own team and complete challenges to improve your players. There were only to things that I didn’t like. First was that you could only have like 2 NFL players on your team because then you wouldnt have points left to do a challenge(yes it cost points to attempt a challenge). The way you get these points is by beating a whole division like the AFC WEST. The other thing that disappointed me was that there weren’t any booses to look forward to beating like in NBA Street. The only type of boss there is is the NFL Legends at the end of the game. The best part about this was the multiplayer, its very fun to play against someone elses custome team. Overall this game is great even though it sounds like Ive critisized this game a lot those are only 2 minor things. I highly suggest you buy this game especially if your into the NFL.(Lke me)

NFl Street is a great game for you if you aren’t looking for a Rule book run game. The basic concept is still there: Drive Down the field and score but it is more exciting. The hits are harder the gameplay is quicker and the players are 100X cooler. The players have all been "enhanced" so they basically look way exagerated which is a good thing. It’s common to have three players with two foot afros and a linemen that is wider than an NYC apartment. The gameplay is high paced and very fun. The STREET title comes in because you get points that add up to gamebreakers if you can get fancy. You can get points for throwing a laterall then doing a hail mary and also for taunting your way into the end zone. A gamebreaker Is bassically the same thing as catching on fire in slugfest or Blitz. You get pumped up and more powerfull. Every hit practically causes a fumble. Your nearly impossible to tackle and your a lot faster. NFL Street is a great game for those of you who enjoyed NFL Blitz or NBA Street. If your not sure it will fit your style rent it.
