This is indeed a great game. Hence the title of my review, It is easy to see where games in the Souls series got their inspiration. Some people refer to this game as the grandfather of Bloodborne. The melee combat, with a pistol as a sidearm, the gothic atmosphere complete with fog and random blood spatter, and the (sometimes) large trudging monsters. Walking controls are a little clunky, but this game has enough good things in it to outweigh that, and it is easily overlooked once you begin learning combos in the game. You’ll soon be into fast and fluid combat. This is a game that any N64 owner should have in their collection!

my daughter play this game and she can shreds the zombies i am amaze how she can play it so good. the game can keep you on the edge of your seat and it has alot of surprise in that. my cousin had this game and my daughter was playing it my cousin couldn’t believe how she could shred the zombies as well. maybe one day she will get this game and start playing it. it is a good game to take your madness out on the monster and zombies

I first bought this game at a flea market about a year ago for like 4 bucks not expecting much. I thought for 4 bucks i’d run with it. On my first play of the game i thought to myself, “These controls suck and i have no idea where to go”. sitting on my couch in my gloomy unfinished basement, i now realize that this was the perfect way to start the game, confused, cold, without a clue what to expect. upon figuring out how to operate basic controls i found myself lumbering around beating random zombies and enjoying it. then i start to figure out what to do. exploring dungeons and crypts, this is the first game I’ve ever played that actually scared me. I have played resident evil at 2 in the morning and i still say this can be a thriller through its first plays to the unwary. Over all me and my friend enjoy trying to get farther and farther in its plot.The game being as great as it is there are some flaws to its design. First, the controls are horrid, you will find your self in situations were maneuvering can cause damage or death unless you have played the game for long periods of time. every once and a while you will find your self in a “learn to jump or die!!!!” scenario, there is a bridge that just HAS to be broken down the middle and if you don’t know how to jump or mess up on your jump, YOU…WILL…DIE !!!! its as simple as that, because of all the people in the world that kill monsters you gotta be the one that can’t swim. But otherwise this is an undiscovered classic, b.
