Discover a handicraft world bursting at the seams with creativity, as you guide Yarn Yoshi or Yarn Poochy through clever side-scrolling stages. Unravel secrets, toss yarn to weave platforms, and power up with woolly transformations. All stages from the Wii U version are joined by new ones starring Poochy and more Nintendo 3DS exclusive features! It’s a mad dash for beads in new Poochy stages: dodge stumps, mush down snowy paths, chase Lakitu, and unearth hidden paths and items. Sniffing out secrets is always a charm in Mellow Mode, thanks to the curious Poochy Pups. As you find collectables, you’ll unlock rewards, from extra stages to new Patterned Yoshi. You can also design and play as your very own Yarn Yoshi, or share it with friends via the StreetPass function! When you want a break from exploring, peek into the lives of Yarn Poochy and Yarn Yoshi in hilarious stop-motion shorts. It’s time to get crafty!

I really like that I can custom color a yoshi! I wish I could free roam the overworld like in the WiiU version (instead of side-scrolling world to world), but that doesn’t detract from the game’s good design.

  2. Paola Monserrat Aceves Jiménez

Un juego que te entretiene muchísimo!!

  3. Garrett

Good platformer with great music. Rewards exploration.

  4. Valerie Doughty

Good game. Kind of hard and aren’t very good instructions. You just have to play and learn. But it’s a typical Mario style game. Glad we bought it!

  5. Mr Felix

    My sister love it

  6. Shawn

Came exactly as soon! Fast and simple!

i love the yoshi woolly world. i have it on the wii u and now on the 3ds. you can use poochies as constant eggs which is nice if you are just playing to have fun. i already beat the game so it makes it more fun since i am just playing to enjoy it.i hope they put this on the switch

  8. ReyesGreen

    So fun and so cute

I was going to skip this because we already have it for the Wii U and the few new poochy levels aren’t very much. But my kids saw the Poochy amiibo on youtube and I went ahead and got it for the five year old. She loves it so far. She got the chance to play with her sibblings on the Wii U, but more often than not that was watching them play. So she’s really happy to be playing with her own game.As far as I can tell, the levels are the same levels from the Wii U version. The graphics have been downgraded a little for the 3DS, but the animation and cuteness is still full-force! It’s just as much the full game on the Wii U. In fact, if you have a new 3DS it runs at 60 frames per second! (On my daughter’s 2DS it still runs 30 FPS). Everything still looks woolly and wonderful, but everything isn’t as sharp as it was on the Wii U. It’s still just as bright and colorful. The overworld has been simplified. It’s no longer 3D. Instead you can walk on a 2D platform to pick from levels or you can just touch the level you want on the touchscreen below. I like the 3D overworld on the Wii U, but it’s easier for my girl to find the level she wants on the 2DS.Poochy isn’t used much if you aren’t playing in the easier mellow mode. In mellow mode, you have three poochy pups following you that are infinite eggs, that help you find secrets, and that fight bad guys for you. Right now my girl is playing normal and doing pretty good. I’m a little sad that she can’t have Poochy friends show her where.
