Great ball. Great grip if you play this ball for a while, especially if your hands are a little sweaty. There is something about this ball that other balls don’t have. I like how “mellow” it feels when you set it. Also, compared to Molten, this ball doesn’t have that “balloon” feeling when you hit it.I am not sure about the floats, I did not see any difference between Molten and this ball. I think this is more of a “hype.”Thanks.

I personally love this ball, but I have to take one star off because nobody wants to play with it. Beginners and especially girls complain it’s too hard, even though I have it inflated to slightly below regulation. They also complain it feels "small" even though it’s official size. I love the panel design, the cover texture and feel, and the color scheme. I find it very easy to track in the air against a background of bright fluorescent lights which makes my hitting more consistent. The slightly denser feel of this ball compared to the crappy 18 panel Wilson and Baden balls at my gym makes it easier for me to place my sets, though hitting requires a bit more precision on the player’s part. This is a player’s ball, and if you got game, you’ll probably enjoy it. If you’re a beginner or complain when your forearms get red, then stick to your open gym’s stock marshmallows.I also play with a Molten 5000 and much prefer the Mikasa. The Molten feels balloony in comparison, and doesn’t give you that satisfying "thud" when you smack it good.I also play a Tachi SV5W which is a nice all-around ball but I definitely prefer the 8-panel composite design over the 18-panel leather cover of the Tachi.

This is the best ball I have ever used. I love the feel of it: passing, setting, and especially hitting are all awesome. Even just holding it is exciting. I thought the dynamic of the ball would be similar to the MVA330 or the Molten Flistatec, but this just blew both of them clear out of the water. It moves like crazy. Pin hit, float serve, jump serve, whatever – it doesn’t just wobble or meander into the spin – this thing books.

Great all around indoor ball. The grip allows me to set the ball fairly descent; additionally I can get a really good standing floater serve in. The only thing that concerns me is that I do have to check the PSI before every use. It does seem to require some air more often than not; but then again this is my first ball I’ve ever purchased so I don’t know if all balls require that or not. Either way, this is my go to ball.

I have played volleyball for about 8-10 years and this ball seems real after 3 or 4 months of use. The ball is a little bit hard to use for some of my beginnner friends, but for an advanced or intermediate player this ball is great. It is a little bit cheaper then the molten and about equivilant depending on your preferences. Cant go wrong with this ball.

I’m not a volleyball player, I got this ball because of the anime “Haikyu” but it seems like a cool ball. I don’t know how long it will last but it seems good!

Where I play, this is the only ball we use. The elegant but subtle leather, the dimples, and the color pattern make up a ridiculously technologically advanced yet simple ball. Float serves act well on court, however, this ball definitely loves to be hit hard. Really great for blocking, spiking, and serving; however, sometimes feels a little "slippery", not very noticeable, but could be a disadvantage to setters. I play college volleyball and would recommend this ball.

Very happy with purchase. It’s a little on the heavy & hard side, so I wasn’t so sure when I first warmed up with it. But once actual play started it felt nice and "grippy" when I set, and felt like I had pretty good (better?) control receiving tough serves, so maybe the claim that these colors are easiest for human eyes to see are true. (Ha ha..don’t mind all the help I can get.) Timely delivery. Was not inflated, but I wasn’t expecting it to be, based on website info/reviews.

I’m in a highschool volleyball team and I was skeptical to order this ball off of retrolio but this ball is actually really great and behaves the same as one ordered from the official sight. I have had it for quite awhile and have no signs of bad build quality. Hope this helps someone else on the fence debating whether or not to buy it.

Great ball and my granddaughter has used it very much in her practice games and learning proper game moves
