Amidst the scorched sands of ancient Persia, there is a legend spun in an ancient tongue. It speaks of a time borne by blood and ruled by deceit. It is within this war torn land that a young Prince discovers a magic dagger. Embark on a journey of scorched sands and ancient legends. Guide the Prince on his quest to reverse the curse by using the Sands of Time, a power which allows you to erase the past, see into the future and slow down the present. He must tread these dangers carefully, however. Because in this world, there is only one rule: master the Sands, or be buried.

Prince of Persia –
Hi there, Prince of Persia here – yes the one from ‘Sands of Time’, and NOT the nefarious pretender in ‘Warrior Within’. I hear people comparing me to Kratos, so I took a look at ‘God of War’, which by the way is a great game but certainly NOT better than ‘Sands of Time’. Here are my impressions.- As you know, I’m from Persia, the great empire that in its 7000 year history invented the cuneiform, wine, composite bow, bronze smelting, and iron weapons. Our empire stretched from Europe and North Africa to Central/South Asia, while Sparta (where Kratos is from) was a small city state founded in 900 B.C. and whose decline began only 500 years later after their ignominious defeat to the Thebans. Spartans are, of course, well known for their iron discipline and prowess in battle, and I have a great respect for them.- On a personal level, Kratos is built to be a warrior, where I was really trained to be an emperor. I’m about 6’1″ / 170 pounds, where Kratos looks to be about 6’7″ / 240 pounds. Kratos is built for raw power, and wields two MASSIVE swords with which he can pulverize stone walls. I’m built for agility and speed, and endowed with superior intelligence to turn any situation to my advantage. Kratos will have had much difficulty with many of the platforming puzzles I had to overcome in ‘Sands of Time’, while I may have needed more power to subdue some of Ares’s more gigantic minions. Overall, you must admit that I move with fierce grace and athleticism that surpasses Krato.

I must have completed this game at least eight times since I got it for christmas (with a ps2 might I add) Everything about it is a classic, 100% grade A work from pop team and ubisoft. Ok ok, I admit the start of the game is a little bit dull, that is until you retreive the dagger only about 5% of the way into the game. Its not a very long game, I can finish it in about 4 hours, I know all the secrets (I work in a chat game help text service the number to call if you need help or secrets is 0773 1331 864 not only for popsot but a number of many games charged at standard rate. text the word, pshelp)You’ll begin the game, the first 30% with a rather pathetic sword, but the sand creatures you face mach it so don’t worry. The different levels all merge into the princes journey (with Farah) they follow as – Outside the Maharajahs palaces and its defences, inside the palace of Azah, in a warehouse, the sultan zoo, the baths, in castles, underground reseviours, baths, hall of learning, prison, the tower of dawn, a tomb, and climbing the tower. Throughout these stagest, 3 sword up grades. Finishing with a weapon that can eliminate sand cratures with a single successful strike (kicking doesn’t count).there are many magic fountains availiable throught the game, Game service mentioned above know the werabouts of them all so please feel free to ask for help.

I’m not very far into the game, but it’s pretty fun so far.I’m the only one out of my friends that never played this game when it came out, but they always spoke highly of it… which is why I bought it now.

PoP made by Ubisoft was obviously entertaining. The prince could upgrade his weapon. The last blade could woop the monster in one slash. The game itself offered different varieties of puzzles. You needed to use your brain to get the puzzles solved. The puzzles that I think is quite challenging are: the pillar of light, some of the mirrors’ puzzle, and the room of tomb. It’s not that difficult though. The prince had to use his acrobatic skills, such as vaulting, to jump from platform to another platform.I really the “rewind” system because you can know how to react on certain circumstances. The bullets of time is limited so use it wisely. The game also offered the classic game of PoP simply by following these instructions:Start a new game, stay in balcony, hold L3 and press X, square, triangle, circle, triangle, X, square, circle.

Prince of Persia: the sands of time is the greatest game ever made. It keeps you playing for hours and still wanting more. I could not stop myself from playing this game. I would find myself staying up till two in the morning, not even noticing until I glanced at the clock. The story is so great that I won’t spoil any of it. Only that the Prince must embark on a quest in which he must use the power of “the dagger”. The dagger is an ancient object that holds the powers to control time. Yep, that’s right! With this you can: Rewind time (for up to 10 seconds), Slow down time to half speed (for a limited “time” of course), Freeze enemies in time (very useful in combat), and fast forward through time (this one actually makes the Prince go at a fast speed, but not the enemies). But don’t worry hardcore gamers, there is a limit to the powers of time. The powers of the dagger are controled by the “sands” within. But if the sands run out-no more time control. That’s why those handy “sand clouds” are there to refill the sands. The Prince is as well accompannied by a mysterious girl “Farah” on his journey. The character development is so great between the two throughout the game. I can’t desribe the enourmous enviorment of the city of Babylon. There is really superb platforming as you climb walls, swing from poles, and dodge the many traps hidden in the castle. So what are you waiting for? Buy this game! If you are any kind of gamer, you will love it!

I love this game. It’s so entertaining and the graphics are really good. The product itself came in good condition with no obvious defects. Would definitely recommend this product.

It’s a fun game, you’ve really got to know how to use your brain. One of the things I love about the Prince of Persia games is all the things you can do — like running on walls. I kind of wish the movie was based more on the game.Son, Cody, 15.

Sands of Time was Ubisoft’s first effort in a new Prince of Persia trilogy. Its captured the original essence of the game without compromising tradition:Jumping dodging spikes, walking through walls, fighting against their enemies.I recently purchased this game for relax in the weekends, for only $8.00 (its a bargain)PLAYABILITY:The gameplay consists of three types of actions: NAVIGATION (the most common and best type), COMBAT, and PUZZLE-SOLVING.Its surprisingly easy to play, despite the incredible acts of skill and daring that the game’s main character will routinely perform during the course of the game. The combat like virtually everything about the game, looks extremely cool, and, like other aspects of the game, it’s quite easy. Unfortunately it’s also a little shallow.CONTROLS:A highly responsive, very forgiving control scheme further ensures that at no point during the game will you get particularly stuck. However sometimes the camera angle is not the best, you have to guess whether you can actually make a move or not.TIME TO COMPLETE:Around 12 hours.SOUND:A memorable musical score, which combines traditional Middle Eastern sounds and instrumentation with a hard rock edge and some nice chorus vocals, also fits the game extremely well. The dialogue volume is a bit low,the voices sound like whispers, and many times dont understand.GRAPHICS:Great graphics, the lighting is perfectthe and environments are beautiful and richly detailedBONUS:The console versions of Prince of Persia of.
