Pro Evolution Soccer has always been a favorite sports franchise of mine. While I know many prefer the FIFA series, I’ve always gotten PES. So when I heard that one of the 3DS launch titles was going to be PES2011 I was intrigued but slightly worried. Usually with handheld devices it seems that they get the scaled down, not as fun or deep little brother of the console version. But once I popped in PES2011 I was surprised to say the least. The graphics, both with the 3D and without the 3D, are fantastic. Nintendo has really stepped up when it comes to their games graphical capabilities. The gameplay is smooth as ever although in some spots after you score the framerate can drop slightly. The Analog stick really helps movement and the shooting, passing, and kicking all feel really good.The 3D does add a ton of depth when playing, making the field seem bigger then it really is, although I will say in really close matches I turned it off so I could focus on the playing and not the visual spectacle that comes from the 3D.All in all if you love soccer or just want a really well done sports game for the 3DS then you can’t go wrong with PES2011

I got this game from Target for $9 since it was on sale for Black Friday and I must say it is a very good game! If you love soccer and you can get this game for up to $20 I suggest you get. This game is worth up to $30 in my opinion and if you can get it for as cheap as I did I would suggest it over FIFA and PES 2012! The 3D effect is great but I prefered playing in 2D this specific game. Master League is the best part since you become the manager of a team and compete in a real life league such as the English League. One complaint is that in the English League there are few teams that actually have their real uniforms and names. The gameplay is fun and u can adjust the difficulty.All in all this game is great but u should try and get it for cheap.

I bought the game for my boyfriend and he loved it! the design and the graphics, also how is the experience when you play in 3d, it is true that after a few hours is difficult to continue with the image in 3D, because he tend to have a headache but after all he like it and thats whats important

I purchased PES 2011 3DS alongside SSIV for my 3DS , and i have to say that it is by far the better of the two. There are several modes to enjoy like the UEFA Cup or the Master League. Obviously there is also exhibition mode. The teams are all as they are supposed to be ( right player names and etc.). The 3D effect was simply breathtaking . The graphics were nearly unbelievable for a DS. I really enjoyed this game and can see myself easily putting in 40 hours into it. This is a must-by for the 3DS
