While I agree wholeheartedly that they should simply release season box sets of Beavis and Butthead that contain the episodes in their entirety (including every music video), for what it is worth, this collection IS EXCELLENT. No it doesn’t promise to bring us every season, evey episode, every video, but the episodes and videos and promos, and montages contained within these three disks are absolutely to die for.The DVD comes with a written explanation by Mike Judge of WHY they do not plan on issuing complete seasons with every episode and every music video. As the DVD insert states, Mike felt that only 2/3s of the Beavis and Butthead material was amusing and a full third of it was “really really awful and embarrassing.” As a fan of Beavis and Butthead, I have to say that I fully agree wtih him. Mike goes onto write that this DVD “is the first volume of that two thirds” that doesn’t suck. If this volume is any indication, the subsequent volumes will be astronomically excellent as well. Mike has handpicked some of the funniest cartoons of all time. These episodes are pure brilliance. And the 11 videos contained within this DVD are some of my all time favorites. Who can forget Beavis making himself dizzy to make Korn’s “Blind” video better? Or Beavis and Butthead talking about how Pantera’s dad must have beaten Pantera? It’s brilliant!Honestly, I know this isn’t every episode or every season, or anything like that really. But for a box set of Beavis and Butthead thi.

I hadn’t watched these two knuckleheads for a long time but instantly began to chuckle when they started laughing in "no laughing". Damn it’s been a long time but these episodes really took me back. Funny stuff.

I really loved and missed beavis and butt-head immensely. I think watching this set was a great refresher for me on what I had been missing in my life. However, after plowing through the dvds in a good three days or so, I found myself wanting more. I think that’s generally how this set leaves me. It definately feels incomplete. I even went through all the special features, maybe hoping to find something more, but, still, I’m not yet satiated.Hopefully, they’re planning to pull out the big guns for later volumes. For example, I’m personally waiting for more episodes of “Vaya Con Cornholio” and “Nose Bleed” caliber to be available at my command…

Hilarious commentary on modern things. still a 10/10 comedy.

Vol. 1 out of all 4 is my least favorite but I got it to complete the whole set.You can definitely see how mike judge started off with the quality of the first 8 episodes and then how he transitions into better quality with his creativity.not the same as it once aired because they don’t show the music video’s in between each skit but it’s still worth it, especially if your collecting shows that you grew up on and this being one of them.

Watching older media you realize that some things just are not as funny as they use to be are as quick or fresh. I do not find that to be the case with Beavis and Butthead. OK, to a point, it not brand new, given the fact it is 20 years old. However, the comedy is still funny and makes you laugh and takes your mind off of things for a few minutes. Am I missing something? Isn’t that the point of TV? I enjoy watching the re-runs of the show and remember life was like when MTV still played videos.

I thought Beavis and Butthead changed America. Their stupidity was a influence of a generation. I, sadly, was not allowed to watch the show when it was on TV (I was a child and in my elementary school years at the time), and because I actually rather watch the episodes instead of having to watch music videos within the episode (just like the duo themselves, they hate a lot of music videos but watch them just to critize them and I don’t care for music videos), I really love the show. However, like other people who also liked the show, I have to agree with them to release all of the episodes (for goodness sake! I can’t believe they didn’t put in the Customers Suck episode because that was hysterical and the only one I have ever seen when the show was on TV) because we want to see and have all of the episodes, not just 80% of them and never get to see the other ones. I guess this is still recommended but remember, we all should fight back and get the remaining episodes back (even if they have a lost episodes collection I don’t care, the people want them and Mike Judge is refusing to give us them!)
