My wife and I have used a few different Kinect workout games. We love this one the best. There are a lot of different exercises that are broken into short intervals. A typical workout is 22 to 28 minutes. Some exercises are only 30 seconds long. Longer ones are based on reps. But, still are only a couple minutes long. Some of the exercises are a real challenge, but the durations are short enough that you can certainly handle them.I have been using Nike+ Kinect for two months. I definitely can feel the difference. I keep getting more "personal bests" each week. I am getting stronger and have more endurance. I am also seeing it on my waste-line and the scale!This is a great buy at this price.I was initially reluctant to get it because I thought you might need the Nike Fuel Band. While this does track you’re Nike Fuel, you don’t need a band to use the game.
Great game to help exercise at home!
I use this every day. I really feel it, as I’ve got a nice coating of sweat when I’ve finished my workouts. I’m about to finish my first 4-Week Porgram and I couldn’t be happier. Couple this with proper nutrition and it really works. I’ve lost some LBs already. It’s nice to get the heart pounding for 3-min-1hr every day in the comfort of my home. However, don’t think it’s comfortable. As I’ve said, this thing makes you work! I live in a small apartment and I can still fit in everything I need to. I move forward/backward no more than 4 feet, and side-to-side about 6 feet. Get a yoga mat, too. It makes it more comfortable.

I have been using Nike+ Kinect Training for over 4 months now and it has helped me build endurance and muscle, burn calories and get me in better shape. The program constantly measures you to let you know how you’re doing, and does an assessment at the beginning of each 4-week program to assess your progress overall. The assessment is called a “fuel-print” and gives you a measure or your athleticism and your fitness level, and uses those measures to compare you to others in your age group as well as the trainers. Your fuel-print will (hopefully) improve with each 4 week assessment.Based on my needs, I have 3 sessions a week: 2 cardio and 1 strength. I’ll usually add in an extra session a week for weight training (some exercises use 2 dumb bells), and have also added on the upper body+core and lower body+ core add on packs (can be purchsed with 400 Xbox points each). I try to get in about 5 sessions a week total, the add-ons are usually 15-30 minutes each, and the regular trainings sessions I am currently at 45 minutes/session for cardio and about 30 minutes for strength.The Nike+ web site also does a good job of tracking your achievements and history.I like that the program pushes improvements incrementally and tailors your workouts to your progress. When I started, the program was set for 6-7 20-30 second exercises (e.g., high-knees run in place) and after 4 months I’m now up to 60 second exercises with about 12 exercises done in 2 sessions (with a 2 minute “rest” period in.
This program is great! It gives a great workout that is very realistic for a persons fitness level. It is easy to set up and can be used regularly with a Kinect system. I’m glad I bought it and it is a regular addition to my workout program. It helps break up a regular workout program.

This is a great program for mornings before work, or a rainy day when going outside just sounds dreadful. I’ve been using the ‘Tone’ with a focus on strengthening a few times and week, I see noticeable differences in my rep counts, tone, and desire. It’s great that you can compete against friends, which adds that little bit of motivation missing at the gym alone. I’m a huge body weight exercise kind of gal, and this allows me the little bit of extra motivation I need to actually do it and do it properly!
This is amazing! I have many connect games but this one is my all time favorite. I am currently a stay at home mom with a 1 yr old and a 4 yr old. I don’t always get to go outside and with the weather having been as crappy as it is lately, I don’t want to. I got this because I thought it would be a nice light work out. This thing is serious! I’m already down 5 lbs after 1 week. Started at 182lbs and now I’m down to 177lbs. They help you set goals, work out schedule, and improve on aspects of your body’s flexibility.Simply put..BUY IT!!
I received this game pretty quickly, the shop even provided tracking so I knew when I would be getting it.The game is pretty fun to play, I’ve been playing all afternoon.Some people have said that you need a huge playing area or completely empty living room, I would agree however whenever I play kinect in general I move all of the furniture out of the way so that I have roughly between 8-10 square feet of playing space.This game is not intended for people looking to get in shape or lose weight. It is a training game. When you put the disc in to play for the first time it says it is for athletes and is designed to build and or tone, help lose fat (that you may have put on during the off season), or help you train for your sport.Now I do believe that whoever plays this game will get a workout designed for them, and if they really do want to reach their goal they will need to push themselves and work to get what they want, so no it’s not easy.Game controls are really easy to work too, all you do is raise your arm straight out until the game recognises it and then select your option and swipe your arm.I’ve only been playing this game for a day so I can not comment about the workout plans, however they seem pretty nice and everything is not consistent which is great for working out.

Great workouts to complete in your own living room. Does require a lot of space to move around and kinect sensor does not always recognize if you’re doing the movements which is frustrating especially to someone just starting out with working out regularly. really good stretches and variety to the workouts that the trainers provide.

This is an awesome workout. My only complaint is that you need a huge room to do it in. You have to be far enough away from your Kinetic senso for it to se you from head to toe. Plus the trainer is kind of annoying. But if you want to sweat and get in shape. get this.

This was originally purchased for my son. My son plays high school football and he uses this workout to keep in shape. He really likes it. I also use it . It was kind of hard in the beginning (probably due to being out of shape) I have gotten used to the workout and I use it at least 3 – 4 times a week.

This is pretty cool because it gives you a fitness test, and uses this information to create an ever changing training program for you. I bought this for my husband for his birthday. My only negative is that it is high impact, and I could find no way to modify this (jump up high).

I got this for my new year resolution and it’s a beast…workouts are roughly 25mins long and you’ll get to choose between getting toned, weight loss, or strength training. This choice can be changed at anytime but the program uses your choice to customize your workouts. At the end of the day, the program is about your effort…if you don’t do it, it’ll suck…if you stick with it you’ll see results guaranteed

This game/workout is great. I didn’t know where to start with a workout at my local gym, this designs a program suited for your individual needs without having to leave your house. This game allows you to set workouts to fit your schedule and tracks your progress. Since it utilizes Kinect it is able to tell if you are in the correct position for the workout and will tell you how to correct yourself if you are not.I highly recommend this game for those that want to work out but are unsure of where to start or don’t have the time to go out to a gym.
