I ordered this for my Grandson and we had this in 3 days which he was thrilled over. The cover shown was not the one he wanted so when it showed up with the Zombie on it he was really happy. It was used but it great shape just like we were told.

There are 2 versions of RE Director’s Cut… the original version (pictured), and the Dual Shock version. The latter has a zombie on the front cover instead of Chris Redfield. There are subtle differences. I think the music in the original version is better. The original is also much more difficult to find. When I saw a used copy listed in “like new” condition for a good price, I jumped on it. Low and behold, I received the Dual Shock version and not the original as I wanted (and as is pictured). So I’m posting this to warn others about this.It is a very good survival horror game though. I’m not going to give a bad review of the game because of a vendor error (as many do). I’m not going to give a negative review to the vendor either actually, as I’m sure it was an honest mistake and they refunded my money & paid return shipping, no questions asked, with an apology.

When you ask someone why the Sega Saturn failed and why the Sony Playstation succeeded, most people knowledgeable on the subject don’t have a great reason. The best answer I’ve come up with is that Sony Playstation had some smash hits that the Saturn did not have. Games like Tomb Raider, Twisted Metal, and Final Fantasy VII were mega-hits that Saturn did not have an answer for. One game came very early into the Playstation library and was deemed an instant classic by gamers and critics alike, and that game is the first Resident Evil game, the first true hit for the Sony Playstation.Released by Capcom in early 1996, Resident Evil was unlike any game we had ever seen at the time. With an opening title screen that explodes in blood and symbolizes terror, Resident Evil is a game that truly doesn’t reveal itself right away. You have the opening story cinema scenes that vaguely explain your elite police officers’ reason for venturing out into strange territory in search of your teammates. One of your teammates is killed during the investigation of the crashed helicopter by a strange canine beast of sorts, so the actors run for shelter in a spooky looking mansion.I won’t rehash everything about the game, but I believe it is important to try and recapture the feeling of the first time playing the game. It’s pretty difficult to describe. The music is perfectly eery and sets the tone grandly with stringed arrangements you would hear in a suspenseful terror film. You walk around trying.

Love Residents Evil all the games. I get glued to the screen. No problems with delivery.

    Chris, stop it.

The game was great. The service was top notch. I recommend it. It was sent to me in a few days.

THis is the amazing game that started the genre of "survival horror" and created the interest in fans for such games. This game is pretty old now, but if you haven’t played it yet you’ll surely want to give it a try. The point to this game is simple: survive a mansion full of zombies, while solving puzzles along the way. What makes this game a challenge is the fact that you have to fend off enimies with a very limited amount of health and life. ANother challenge is that occasionally enimies will pop out and give you a surprise which you must quickly defend against. ANother great thing is that on this version of the game you get a special edition of Resident Evil and a harder difficulty level.

Item was received as described immediately. Definitely satisfied with my purchase.

This is the one that started it all.I’m pretty sure every fan of the series has seen the real original opening FFV, the one with Chris smoking, and more gore, but if not find it and check it out. This is the easy version, more ammo, different music and scenes from the original game.Yes, the dialogue is funny, even lame in some cases. So ignore it.I didn’t read every review here, so bear with me.You play either Jill Valentine or Chris Redfield.Depending who you choose, depends on how easy the game goes.If it’s your first time, pick Jill. She gets a lock pick and a grenade launcher, definite pluses.Fool around with the game, have fun with it.When a character tells you to do something do the opposite, just for some funny dialogue. You start off running for the mansion.Once inside, if Jill, you and Barry search for Chris. If Chris, you, Jill and Wesker search for Barry. But this is Jill so you and Barry hear a gunshot, think it’s Chris and off you go to investigate. And yes, I will admit the first time I played it the FMM Zombie caused me to jump.If you run back to Barry, he will kill the zombie, so don’t waste ammo. After Barry kills the Zombie, you both go to report to Wesker, who is now missing.Splitting up, Barry will suggest you go one way, don’t.Go up stairs and you will see two doors, one in front of you and one to the right.Through the door and one more you will find Forester, another team member who died. Here you should find a key and a grenade launcher, the go back down to the.

In good condition except light scratches on disc causing dialogue in game to be broken.
