To say I own every Resident Evil game ever made and have bought gaming consoles, just to play the game would be an understatement. While this game isn’t as sleek as Resident Evil 6 or Resident Evil 4 (which are two of my all time favorites), it stills holds up very well on the Xbox console, loved the new characters and story line, of course the classic monsters, Chris Redfield and starring Jill Valentine (who last stared as the featured character in Resident Evil 3 – Nemesis). Resident Evil Revelations is definitely a re-playable game (I’ve already play it twice) and will satisfy every Resident Evil fan …so add this one to your list of RE games.
The One Who Critiques –
My cousin is a lifelong fan of the Resident Evil franchise so I purchased this game in hopes that he would enjoy it as he has enjoyed the rest of the series. Now this is a guy who loved Resident Evil 1,2,3,4,5,6 and ORC, so take from this quick review what you will, but my cousin is ecstatic to be playing it.He told me he absolutely loves it and is frankly quite happy that I purchased this for him. Unfortunately I can’t go into detail for I have not played the game, though it made him happy so it gets a solid 4 star rating. If and when I do play the game I will comeback and revise my review.

Yeah it’s not the best, not as good as 6…but way better than Raccoon City. It is different game play than RE 6 though. I’d say it’s more like going way back to something like Code Veronica which is pretty old. Its a combination of the story jumping backwards in time and it being a conversion from a DS game. I’d recommend getting it at a discount.

A very fun and challenging game. Capcom has been hit or miss with some recent installments of this series, however this one is a definite hit. Simply but…the price point was right, I bought it and am very happy with the game so far. If you like these types of games, grab a copy.

I think that RE6 was good but very frustrating. This was not that at all it felt like RE4 & 5 but better. The storyline was not disappointing and at times it made me jump. Even though it was originally release for the Nintendo DS, it felt like it was made for the 360. That being said, the graphics are not at the RE5 or RE6 level, but i don’t care about that. One thing it didn’t like was the map, not the best. Aside from that I loved everything about the game.

I rented this game and got through a decent portion (I played it about 7 hours). This is actually a good game as far as mechanics and gameplay. Very playable and not annoying to play (like resident evil 6). A bit cheeky with the episodic fashion of the story but you play as a bunch of characters in different locations and with different enemies. There is a good variety of gameplay and character based tactics throughout. Graphics are pretty good as well (for a 3ds port). I recall there being a challenge mode as well which is kind of a cool diversion.I have nothing bad to say about this game for what it is; an upgraded port of a portable game. Replayability probably isn’t there which is something to be aware of.4 stars.

Surgical Orpheus –
Bought this for my sister-in-law who has been playing the series since RE5. She has enjoyed it and you can get a lot of play out of a game that doesn’t break the bank.

I’m a big fan of the RE franchise (some people love it, some people hate it). I really enjoyed this game, and felt like it went back to the RE roots (horror/survival). Unlike RE6, you won’t be constantly taking on huge hordes of zombies or infected creatures, but rather trying to survive on this huge cruise ship and solve a mystery. Beware, the final boss is the hardest RE boss I’ve encountered yet. It took me a good 20 tries before I finally succeeded in beating him. I’d recommend this game to Resident Evil lovers.
