The graphics were alright for a PS Vita game. It had some touch screen mechanics, I enjoyed the game and it was pretty easy to beat. If you plan on playing multiplayer, just letting you know you will have a hard time finding people to play with as nobody really plays that game anymore. I managed to get the platinum trophy for it tho.

Awesome game can’t stop playing it

Resistance Falling Skies is by no means a stellar game, but what it lacks overall polish it makes up for in bite size chunks of fun. Easily digestible, easy to play, and easy to forget, but even with that being the case this game manages to showcase how FPS games can in fact work on a handheld.

Another game that I picked for the ps vita, adding to my games for my new gaming "toy". Looking forward to adding more!.

Good Game worth the pick up. Listen if you want a game that will take up your time and steady action game. Weapons! weapons! weapons!

It is remarkable how much the developers can do on the PS Vita. I predict that this console will have a long and useful life. Games like these are a reminder of the raw gaming power that this handheld can produce. Compare this to what games are being played on the Apple iPod Touch and you will see what I mean.

This game is a fun, linear first person shooter. The story is ok, but it doesn’t add much to the Resistance lore. It basically just shows the Chimera invasion of the United States. There is a little conspiracy plot which is interesting. My biggest problem with the plot is that the main character is just a normal human, yet fights as well as Nathan Hale. Resistance 3 also did this.Graphics: 4/5. Good looking game, but the resolution does produce shimmering effects.Gameplay: 4/5. The game is easy yet fun. There is a variety of weapons to use.Audio: 2/5. Soundtrack is ok, but the sound effects are pretty dull. The multiplayer is still up, but is totally dead. You will have to boost the one MP trophy with someone else. The MP was pretty lame. The guns and maps are ok, but the time-to-kill is WAY too short. This makes the secondary function of weapons almost pointless, and the game feel too much like Call of Duty.

its a decent game basic shoot, upgrade and kill the aliens type thing. kinda wolfenstinish from a few yrs back. its a good get your killing and shooting fix for traveling.

I would honestly have given this game about a 4 or 4.5, but given its low rating I gave it 5 stars to help at least a bit in helping this highly under-rated game. I understand some of the gripes, but they do not seem to warrant the aggressively high number of 1 and 2 star ratings.Anyway, the game is a lot of fun. I’m not really much of one for FPS games, never having fallen into the Call of Duty craze, and have never played any of the other Resistance games, but I had a blast playing through the campaign. I do think the AI wasn’t incredibly intelligent, however, I still died enough to get frustrated. The worst aspect of AI was mobs jumping along walls. There were a set amount of specific locations they would land, and predicting headshots was easy.Where this game really shines is PvP. It’s sometimes difficult to get into a game, but having a Deathmatch or Team Deathmatch in the palm of your hands wherever you go is amazing. Nothing is like getting that first Maniac medal (10 kills in a row without dying).
