Works great and plays the old games just like the original console did. The 10ft cord is great. Had it for about 3 weeks and so far it has survived the kids.

  2. Betty K

Works great with all my games! Nice and small. I don’t notice much difference in sound or video…not enough to master anyway.

  3. Megan Holler

Excellent works every time feels like a Nintendo even though it’s not I wanted an old one but realized having a new piece of tech that worked seemed more logical for a long term Investment in retro entertainment

I recently got back into retro gaming after several years. Since all of my TVs are HD ones, I decided to look into HDMI NES clones. In my opinion, this one is the best for it’s price range. Many hardcore gamers always talk about how most of these clones are off when it comes to the colors and sounds when compared to the original. As a less than casual gamer, I haven’t really noticed the differences until recently. In doing comparisons with other newer HD clones, I believe this system is as close as you’re ever going to get (without spending too much money) to the original NES. It is most noticeable with Mike Tyson’s Punch Out. Glass Joe is not overly pink. Referee Mario’s face is peach colored, unlike most clones that render his face the same color as his shirt…white. Also, there’s very little noticeable lag when playing. The controllers, while oddly shaped and a bit think, have a similar feel to the originals. I don’t think you can go wrong with this console.

For $40, this is an amazing value. the 720p HDMI output scales wonderfully to my 4k TV, which is AMAZING for an NES. Even for a modded NES, that is an achievement. Lets get into the pros and cons:Pros:Pixel perfect picture qualitySimple HDMI output2 quality controllers included in this dirt cheap priceWorks with any NES cartridge I have thrown at itCompletely LAGLESS8bitdo wireless controllers work with the retro receiverworks with original game genieCons:Does not work with everdriveThis con is massive, and ultimately led me to replace the unit. I’ve got many game cartridges, but the ability to play the entire NES library in HD is amazing. If you are insane like I am and have 50-100 games you wish to play, and don’t feel like forking over a small fortune to your local game store or ebay, a flash cart like everdrive is so much cheaper. So if you want to have 720p HDMI output, you need to buy a RetroUSB AVS for $185.So is this unit perfect? No. Is it almost as good as a unit quadruple its price if you don’t want to get an everdrive? Yup! So yeah, the con is massive. But a $40 clone system doing what this thing does is a steal, and I can’t knock a star off for not being engineered for that functionality.

Bought for my kids (who are PS4 kids), they love it. As well as my self. Easy to set up, easy to use. Let the old fun times roll!

I play a lot of retro NES games and this console is great.. Much cheaper then the retro trio HD.. Perfect HD graphics and sound.. The best part is the controllers . BEST NES controllers I’ve ever used. Perfect D pad and great shape, even better then the original or the “dog bone”..

  8. Kimberly

Awesome NES clone system! Plays games beautifully! Keep in mind this converts original analog sound to digital, so it will have some differences in sound but nothing bad, just different.
