Great cable and great game. I just wish two things:1) It seems to have a slight delay between when I strum/pick and when I actually hear my sounds. It is just enough to be annoying and mess me up at times. I shouldn’t have to compensate for that.2) If there was content I could buy from other bands (like Demon Hunter).

This game is a fantastic way to learn guitar. With lessons and songs it makes it fun and keeps you interested.

Arrived on time! I’m very happy! Great game with a very thick chord so it don’t break easily! Must have if your a beginner!

The bad:Throws double stops and chords at you in ‘learn a song’ mode before training you on themBuilt-in tuner is suspect when compared to an external tunerOversensitive to intonation, under sensitive to rhythmRequires a lot of use of the xbox controller, so you’re frequently switching between guitar and controllerComplicated symbology that takes a while to get used toSomewhat limited in very easy beginner songs. The easiest song, blitzkrieg bop, has a fairly frenetic pace even though it has simple notes/chordsRegisters plucked strings the same as hammer-ons, and can’t be as critical as a real instructor in general due to platform limitations. The game also has limitations in reading bendsSome of the games have annoyingly long unskippable introsCord should be longer (I used a USB extension on mine)There are some drawbacks to the gamification–like causing you to be more concerned with points than with your soundThe good:Includes an arcade mode for gamified skill building drills, which is excellent. Who knew scales could be fun?Includes a lesson mode that teaches you new techniques, and evaluates your performance of themIncludes diverse songs to learnJam session mode to simulate practicing w/ a band, but I haven’t really used it yetComes with the cable, which is all the hardware you need besides your guitarRhythm, lead, and bass guitar training in one game. Can simulate a 4-string bass with a 6-string guitarCan slow down segments to work through difficult portions of songsLarg.

Wish they would add to this game more. It’s the best game for learning guitar for everyone.

I have a family background in music and guitars but I was one of the few that did not stick with it. I find myself thoroughly pleased with this as it motivates me with the ease in which it teaches. I would recommend.

Used with a base guitar. Like that it’s a video game where you use a real instrument.

This is a great way to learn guitar. Kinda like rock band in a way, but this is more a tool than a game. They tried their hardest to make it fun, some of the little mini games are amusing. But as a tool to learn how to play guitar, it’s one of the best

No issues, it works perfectly. I’m using a projector Optima Darbee also a10 plus year old surround sound. All u need is a hdmi cable. I think other reviews are user errors. This is a must get, got me more familiar with the Frets and the pick. Learning to play 45 from Shinedown. Worth every penny.

Great price for someone looking to learn of start getting into playing Guitar or Bass easy to understand and with time and practice.
