I bought this game in order to play it with my Wife. She doesn’t usually like games but she seems to enjoy this one. The game itself is extremely simple. It’s a pretty hackNslash, very straightforward, linear, and one dimensional. There is a minimal degree of customization on your character skills but nothing overwhelming, even for someone knew to gaming. We play local Co-op exclusively and occasionally we go online and random people join us. It’s a fun game and anyone who wants a fantasy game to play with their girlfriend/wife would likely enjoy it. The artwork is quite nice as well. For that reason I have given this game 5 stars, as it fulfills perfectly the reason I bought it.I would like to note that if you are a hardcore gamer or lover of the Sacred Franchise then this game is not going to meet the expectation as the heir of Sacred 2. The game play is not like Sacred 2, it’s WAY LESS in depth. Also, if you have been crushing on some Diablo 3, do NOT expect this game to be comparable.

It is a 3 star game given its title and lineage. HOWEVER, if you pretend it is Crimson Alliance 2 and it cost $19.99, it is an okay way to spend your time and not that bad within its own constructs.
Note:I have never played any of the Sacred series so I am treating this game review on the gameʻs own merits rather than based on expectations of what this game should have been.Pros:- Plays like a Gauntlet-style hack and slash.- No inventory to manage. Iʻve played my fair share of RPGs dating as far back as the 80s with Wizardry. Iʻve played Skyrim, Diablo 3, Torchlight, and now and then itʻs nice to just NOT have to deal with inventory management.- It actually has a black character for a change.- Technically the game is well executed. Audio/Visual quality are generally good. No noticeable glitches.Cons:- The dialog is truly terrible and the humor is forgettable. Oddly after a while you just completely tune it out. Itʻs like a noisy jet engine. After a while you just donʻt hear it any more :)Summary:- Gauntlet-like repetitive hack and slash. Acceptable if that is what you are expecting and when sold at same price as Gauntlet (2014).If you are a fan of Sacred 1, 2, youʻve already seen the other reviews of this product- so stay away.

It’s good for what it is, but it’s no action rpg. Don’t expect Sacred 2 and you’ve got a decent gaunlet legends clone which only supports 2 players locally (4 online) and just a quick and somewhat fun game to play online that’s easy for the most part.
Sacred 3 is a super fun and entertaining fantasy adventure. It’s a classic hack and slash style game with a light hearted Saturday Morning cartoon atmosphere. The game has great fantasy fight scenes, and also lots of funny dialogue. I played and finished this game with a relative of mine, and we had a lot of fun with it. I played Marak The Safiri Warrior. If you wanna play an old fashioned style hack and slash game, then I highly recommend you play Sacred 3.

Sacred 3 is a very good RPG with a large amount of characters to choose from. You’re also able to customize your character’s skills so every character you use is completely different.

The best way to describe this game is by comparing it to other games you may have played. It is roughly the love child of Gauntlet Legends (Hack and Slash) with a dash of Dungeon Siege 3 (Limited Spells). However, as other reviewers have stated, there is no loot to be had other than gold which is used to buy and upgrade a handful of spells, weapons and armor.As a longtime fan of the Sacred series (although, not a fan of the relentless and sometimes game stopping glitches), I was very surprised to see the drastic changes of this series follow-up. This is not the horse riding, combo chaining, quest completing, loot fest I remembered from the first two installments. This game shares the name and character universe of Sacred ONLY.Though, it doesn’t immediately make it a bad game. On the Contrary, Sacred 3 is a Hack and Slash game at heart with a simple leveling system and an odd, charming humor peppered throughout. You and up to 3 other players can jump in, slash your way through hordes until you finally end up at a boss fight. The game does promote cooperation, such as reviving your buddy but can be played alone.Once you finish a level, you are placed on a map to either continue the story or play some small side missions to gain experience. Before deciding where to go you can upgrade your character. Typically you will unlock at least one level through each main mission for continuous character improvement. This is truly not the Sacred I loved long ago but I do feel that this one.

its just a simple game ez game play not hard to learn if you played diablo or Dynasty warriors or Dragon crown you had played this its a good game if you buy this game try to get for $5.00 don’t get it for more $10.00 because its not that damn deep of a game the main story is a little iffy but the game play is good.

If you are Looking for a diablo style game, then sorry this is not it, I was hoping it was but was more surprised that it feels more akin to Gauntlet Seven Sorrows (ps 2), in no way is that a bad thing, I feel that its arcade-ish style is very appealing to Retro gamers, like myself who grew up on games like gauntlet, golden axe, ect,Graphics: the graphics are outstanding, from the storyboard story telling between levels to the in-game models you won’t feel cheated, though the game feels arcade-ish the character models, and level backgrounds do not.Music/sound: I normally have my own music on in the background (usually some Metal) but when I had the game music on it felt like what you would expect, some semi-composed LOTR-ish, Medieval grand battle type of music, the Voice acting was pretty good, but I felt tey could have skipped on the comedic add-ins, it was cute but it felt like it was trying to break the forth wall, and it kind of Killed the desperate atmosphere of the game at times,Controls: The controls felt good, very solid, never once did I feel like they got annoying, the only issue I ran in to was I have played a lot of Diablo 3 on consoles and the roll was on the second analog stick, but in Sacred 3 the roll is on a button, so that took some getting used to.all in all I feel this game is solid, its not perfect but its really solid, well worth the price I paid for it.
