This game is right up my alley to the point that it makes me suspicious, so I was naturally gonna give it 5 stars. It’s not perfect, but if ye like over the top fan service and solid brawling action with a colorful cast of characters, then this is for ye. The story is light and nonsensical, and I could see that bothering people.I’d bought this game YEARS ago on the Vita, and played the ever loving eff out of it. Over that time I badgered the game developers about bringing the Ikki Tousen DLC to the West and once it landed I played the ever loving Eff out of the game again. Recently I finally buckled and got a PS4 and figured I might as well get the game for that system as well. It was a very positive buy. The game runs SOOOOOO much better on the more powerful system, and there are special missions in the Mission DLC pack that are exclusive to the PS4 (the Vita is simply not powerful enough to run them). It’s a very good game to put on when yer in the mood for some short mindless action, and if yer a trophy collector all the trophies in this game are absurdly easy to get.One thing I do want to give particular note to is the cross save feature. As stated I’d bought the game years ago on the Vita and maxed out everything. Once I got the game for the PS4, I wanted to just port my save over rather than having to grind everything again, and thankfully the cross compatibility is very easy to use. I WILL add though, that ye might find that yer missing a great deal of the DLC and so f.
