Love this edition in the long running series as there’s less focus on transformations. It’s more fluid as you don’t have to toggle through an in-game menu and just use the kit given to you which are designated to specific buttonsStory is great as always, as the characters always have something witty to say. The animations/16bit graphics are great. You team up with your arch-rival in prior installments in the game to battle a greater evil. Since you loss your genie powers last game, you have pick up item upgrades to progress through the story.Gameplay wise, it’s your Metroidvania game type: it’s a platformer where you have to backtrack through the level(s) once you get an ability to get key items to progress through the story, get collectables or upgrades. There’s an upgrade system in the game from collecting in-game money from enemy drops which can be used to upgrade your attack of your hair (which you use to attack) and other weapons or buy healthpacksOverall very fun and enjoyable game, and one of the best titles on the 3DS

This game looks so flippin good, so much more vibrant and art like than any game i’ve played in the past… well since donkey kong country 2 or 3? idk games arent usually art these days, they’re just anti nostalgic, like I don’t feel like im gonna actually have nostalgia for games that are looking more and more like real life, which to me is dull, often times not inspiring to look at, and not fulfilling to play. This game is short, difficulty gradually comes up fairly and after an hour of playing I only have 5 levels left, this games not revolutionary, but if you’ve ever wanted the 3d to look good in a 3ds game with BEAUTIFUL 2D ART, this is the game to go with, it’s possibly my favorite 3ds game, and that was a nice surprise,
