A Basic Overview of what the Game Contains:This game is absolutely fantastic and unique. It’s a J-RPG (Japanese Role Playing Game) which has over 80 hours of gameplay in one runthrough. There’s a calender system which makes it that you play each and every day. During the day you have the option to hang out with your friends (which increases your personas stats), shopping for equipment, studying, and several other little things. On a side note, if you never played Persona, a Persona is like a Summon or Monster that you use during a battle. At night you can also hang out with people, but it’s primarily used to train and fight.Difference between the Original and FES:This isn’t the original persona 3 game, but it contains the same story. They polished this up and added a new method to create incredibly strong weapons and a new story (social link) about a friend. Not only did they add this to the main game, they added a second half to the game to complete the story. This segment is called The Answer. It was extremely pleasing that they added this to complete the story and it’s about another 30 hours of gameplay. This section you may or may not like, since there isn’t a lot of story, but plenty of fighting. You don’t have to play this section to like the game, but it’s nice that they added this additional content. My Personal Intake of the Game:I love this game! I’ve already played this game twice and I’m in the middle of my third runthrough. Though I don’t play a lot of games, I do.

Persona 5 got me into this series, so I wanted to try this one next. I did and it’s really different which is a positive thing. Really good story you can easily put in 80 hours into it. The story can be really depressing since so many people turn up….well dead. The next game Persona 4 ( I got the vita port so its golden) is another good installment in my opinion is a step up from this since well you can make everyone do what you want to do.

I had the privilege to play persona 3 on psp and i loved the game so much, I had to play the original. If you have a psp, play the psp version. The mechanics are slightly tuned for the better, however this game is still outstanding and is a must play. I would definitely buy this game for full price if I can rewind back time.

One of the greatest RPG’s ever made! Persona 3:FES is a freaky story that follows groups of troubled high school students who fight against the supernatural monsters called shadows and try to save the world from the hidden threat. Overall, I’d say this is the best persona game (even better than 4) and it’s challenging, fun, and the art is amazing. 10/10.

I liked P3 because it was like playing an RPG combined with a VN. Most of the main characters were interesting. Though people tend to either love them or hate them. The BGM is very enjoyable. Especially during those looooong grinding sessions in the ONLY dungeon in the game. Speaking of that dungeon, I’d say that THAT ONE OVER 100 FLOORED DUNGEON THAT YOU’RE FORCED TO GRIND THROUGH is what almost ruins the game (This is fixed in P4 though). If not for other stuff to do like missions, social link building and collecting personas, I would have dropped this game and let it collect dust on my shelf. One funny thing though. Some of the questions asked in the game, which can raise your stats, are about Japanese history. Don’t be surprised if one question is about what type of molecules make up water and the next is asking you what famous poem some Japanese poet wrote.Oh yeah. The Journey is probably the most torturous part of the game. It’s like an endless dungeon except on HARD MODE. The worse part about it is that you have no other option than to grind it. Waste of time and Yukari is a megab*tch. That is all.

I am shocked this game is perfectly sealed brand new after all these years. For an affordable price .I love it

Persona 3 FES is an JRPG obviously, but the thing that makes it stand out to me from the other JRPGs that I have played in the past is how it plays as part slice-of-life Anime and part RPG. This definitely is unique to the modern Persona games, and I think that it is a great way to spice up the genre. Instead of relying too heavily on combat, the designers of Persona 3 FES made sure that the player also takes part in the ‘social’ activities of the game as well. Socializing with others in the game builds your social link ranking with them, and in turn allows your persona fusions to have more power. If this doesn’t make sense to you, the best way to understand it is to just give the game a try. I would definitely recommend any fan of JRPGs to give this game a shot, as it was a really nice and refreshing JRPG to play at a time when the genre was starting to get stale. The only gripe I personally have against the game is the pacing, which feels a bit too long winded at times and makes the story progress a bit too slowly in some parts. Overall however, I still would say that the story is interesting enough to keep you entertained until the end, just be prepared to get through a few slow parts before getting to the enthralling parts of the story.*In Summary*Pros:-Slice-of-life styled JRPG makes the gameplay feel unique and fresh in comparison to other JRPGs-Art style definitely shows off some style-When you do get to the story parts of the game, they are well executed-Utilizing the.

If you’re curious about the Shin Megami Tensei franchise but aren’t sure where to begin, Persona 3 is a fantastic entry point to the series. This version – FES – is an expanded and enhanced re-release of the original Persona 3, featuring some new events, more Personas, an optional Hard difficulty setting (I’d only advise this for SMT veterans, who should be used to the punishing nature of the franchise), more equipment options, more sidequests, added dialog, new ways to strengthen your Personas, new music, and a number of tweaks. The biggest reason to choose this version over the original release is the inclusion of The Answer, which is another chapter of the story that takes place some time after the main game. It is very important that you do NOT play The Answer until you’ve finished The Journey (the original story). It’s also worth mentioning that The Answer’s difficulty level is equivalent to Hard mode, and cannot be adjusted. So how does it play? In a word, quite well. Persona 3’s gameplay is comprised of juggling the main character’s school life and social life while trying to protect their city from Shadows: the deadly creatures that stalk the night. Luckily, these creatures are only active during the Dark Hour, which is a hidden period of time between one day and the next. This is where the combat of the game comes in.While you’re exploring Tartarus (I’ve used the word “explore” loosely here, as Tartarus is as bare bones as a dungeon can get), you’ll have to fight Shad.

Hello, if you are already a fan of the Shin Megami Tensei : Persona series, I have nothing else to add to what you already know. For those who do not know the series, you will hardly find a game with that much content and that is spent over 70 hours of gameplay for the main quest an an other 35 hours for the epilogue. Persona 3 is a great Japanese RPG set in modern Japan. Each day, between 11:59.59 PM and 12:00.00 AM exist the Dark Hour, one hour were all ordinary people turn into coffin. The unlucky one can be attacked by the “shadows” some creatures created from the darkest thought on living beeing, those who feeds on the people’s conciousness and left them apathic. But some persons found a way to fight the shadows. Evoking their inner strenght, they draw from their “persona” a manifestation from their personalities. You play a tranfer student to a new High-school who recieved the gift of using many personas. With some of his student friends he must discover a way to get rid of the Dark Hour and the gloomy tower of Tartarus. The game play is divided in two, on the first one, you must live the life of a japanese high-school student and find a ways to establish social links (relationship with friends adults or girlfriends). You have a limited time that help you raise your character’s stats such academic, charm and courage, those skills enables you to creat new social links. The social links are giving you experience points when you fuse personas. This help enhanc.

I am a huge fan of the SMT series overall, and the Persona series is indeed a great one. Now I have played Persona 2:Innocent Sin, Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, Persona 4, and Persona 4:Golden, and Persona 3: FES continues to remain my all time personal favorite. You may hear from the majority of people that Persona 4 is the greatest one, and gameplay-wise it probably is. But story and meaning far surpass gameplay in my opinion and that’s where Persona 3 excels.Persona 3 is a much darker, more serious toned game that revolves around the subject of death. Coping with death, facing death, and accepting death. The characters are all affected by death in one way or another and learn together that mortality is something everyone must accept sooner or later, dealing with it and moving on in order to survive, or allow others to survive.I could spend hours bagging on Persona 4 and why it’s my least favorite, but I’ll just leave you with this: If you value meaningful characters, meaningful plot, with a side of good old anime comedy, then buy this game.If you like a plot you don’t have to think about, perversion, annoying characters with mostly stupid problems, but fun gameplay, then Persona 4 is the better choice.
