StormSeeker –
Definitely a fantasy, but it made me laugh. Nerd overload!
Vaughn Bellwood –
I think I probably enjoyed “The Gamers: Dorkness Rising” even more but this third movie is certainly the grandest production of them all and surely worthy of The Gamers legacy (no pun intended … you’ll see …).
tiamat –
a good romance movie for all the gamers. if you belive gamers can find love. if you like listening to a silly love song on the radio, then you will enjoy this movie.
Christopher M. –
This movie is among one of my favorite movies that sums up the life of a gamer, between trying to have time to game but life gets in the way, discovery of one’s own passion and the passion for others. And Gary oh Gary you misguided individual lol
opositive –
ok. i hate card games. but now i kinda care. this was fun and different.
Yvonne Carlisle –
I loved the film and the insight to gamers world. Bravo!
Jeff K. Hetrick –
Cute and amusing… In terms of laugh factor, I think Gamers : Dorkness Rising had more flat out laughing out loud scenes, but this is a fun movie too…I’ve never actually been to a ComicCon, however I was at a convention that had one next door… and it looked pretty spot on…I think there was some mild cursing, sexual references, but nothing "really" explicit… Doesn’t bother me in the slightest, but if you were thinking of letting like a 12 year old watch it who likes to play Magic The Gathering or something, you might want to watch it first and make your own opinion…
Markus Orelius –
I had no idea there was a sequel to The Gamers: Dorkness Rising, so I was giddy when I came across this while browsing newly added movies. As with the previous edition, this game is a wonderful mix of easy-to-miss pop culture references, kitschy flashbacks between in- and out-of-game sequences, and a great story that will hook gamers and non-gamers alike. I was really happy that it was the extended edition, and that the quality was consistent with previous content, too.

Forget all the damning with faint praise you’ll read in all the other reviews due to the target audience, or the low budget. I’ve seen hundreds of movies with huge budgets and expensive special effects that are much lesser of a movie than this one.The Gamers: Hands of Fate does have a fair share of inside jokes and nods to previous films in the series, which you should definitely see, but intimate knowledge of geek culture, RPGs or CCGs is definitely not required to enjoy this movie for the charm and wit it offers. That being said, if you have the opportunity, you should at least see The Gamers: Dorkness Rising before watching if for nothing that to better appreciate the characters.Ultimately this is a very watchable, charming movie with relatable characters in familiar, if slightly esoteric, situations. If you happen to be involved or familiar with roleplaying, whether live-action or at a table, collective card gaming or geek-related conferences then you’ll get that much more out of the movie.

I’m not a gamer so this was a peek into the secret world of gaming and the alternate universe created therein. And the guy gets the gal.
