   I started playing this game in the year 2000 when the first game “The Sims” was released and bought every single expansion pack. I also beta tested and played “The Sims Online” as well as the game console versions.I awaited the release of The Sims 2 for years and I couldn’t believe how great this game is when I played it the first time. You are actually playing a multidimensional person with ambitions, fears and desires that you must keep on a balance. But what amazed me the most is the wonderful graphics and the ability to completely customize floors, walls, clothing, skintones, hair and more. There is also a huge comunity of sim players around the world that create amazing custom content and develop gameplay strategies and, of course, modify the game to it’s very extreme.You will never grow tired of this game because it is limited to your imagination. Plus expansion packs are released twice a year for new features and improvements. I rate this game 10 on a scale of 5. Two big thumbs up!

   I really enjoyed this item. The shop shipped quick, and everything is in new condition, and one was in collector’s condition. I purchased two, one to play, and one as a collector’s edition.

   My friend/co-worker brought this to work on a rainy and slow workday to pass the time. We made it so that our characters look like ourselves, which they do. It’s amazing to see a virtual me. Also, we noticed that our Sims take on our real-life personalities which is both freaky and cool. I guess that’s because we have to enter our horoscopes. I mean, my sims hand movements when she’s bored are EXACTLY like mine. That is so amazingly cool! It took us a while to figure out how to play it (there are lots of symbols and stuff in the left-hand corner), but about a half hour later we all pretty much got acquainted with it. It’s a lot like life, you have a house, friends, career, desires, and the like. Also like life, you have to make sure your sims bodily needs are met, i.e. hygiene, nourishment, and sleep. Unlike the real me, my sim constantly has to use the bathroom.I have Sims Pets on PSP, which is nowhere as cool or as amazing as Sims 2. Sims Pets on PSP takes more time to load than to actually play. In Sims 2, you can make a virtual form of yourself and make you do something you don’t ordinarily do. You can choose outfits to wear, ranging from casual, sporty, dressy, underwear, and pajamas. Currently, I’m a pickpocket, who oddly enough has to carpool to “work.”I only wish that you could minimize the window. You have to save and then quit Sims 2 if you need to do anything at the same time. In this respect, it’s not easy to use if you’re playing this at work.I went on youtube.

   This is one of the best and most successful computer games of all time for a reason. And it’s way, way, way better than The Sims 1. If you are a person that likes games with stragety and a way to better yourself (or, in this case, the characters under your command) you’ll find this very fufilling. I love making my sims excell in their careers, satasify tons of aspirations, find a mate, and get pregnant and start the next generation. I like the idea of having little successful bloodlines going.Words of advice though: keep your sim’s needs satasfied. Sims get cranky and hard to control when one or more of their needs are in the red. Never, EVER, let your sim get really hungry and really tired at the same time because that is dangerous. Sims die if their hunger level hits 0. When sims are very tired you can’t really get them to do anything without falling asleep. So oise keep an eye on those two needs and never let them both get really low at the same time. Also, never, ever, let a sim use (or even have!) a stove if their cooking skill level is not at least 4. Have all your adult sims study cooking (you have to have a book shelf and click on it and pick study cooking) before you even have a stove in their house or, as soon as your back is turned, some idiot sim will try to cook something on the stove and probably light it on fire. When there is fire the sims FREAK OUT and are hard to control. You have to give them the same command over and over to get them to obey. They would mu.

    This game was a gift to my niece. She loves the game and has played it non-stop since receiving. This game is a great buy.
