All the kids enjoy this game. Kids ages are 7-18 years old so it can be tough to find a game that we all enjoy and this does the perfect job. The game is similar to DIXIT but has a little more depth and a few more steps to game play.

Great game for gamers and family groups. Definitely works for multiple audiences

Este juego me encanta, además de que los materiales son muy buenos. Es muy entretenido para jugar en familia, ayuda a la improvisación y convivencia.

Played this at a friends house and once I got home I ordered it immediately since it was so much fun. It’s a type of put on the spot game and just really makes you think creatively and go above and beyond. There are so many great picture cards that could be said and reasoned as anything! Also, my friend bought this as a board game for her class where they would pick a card randomly and use it as a english prompt to write a paragraph. Such a versatile game and also the kids loved the activity, but it is just a really imaginative and creative game, so if you’re that kind of person, definitely a huge 5 star buy!

This is an amazing party game that blends elements from other party/hidden identity games and makes a masterpiece of fun. If you like Dixit, Spyfall, Mafia, Werewolves, then this is for you. It is a mash up of those games and it all comes together perfectly. Not difficult to learn. Great for teens and up. Highly recommended!

Haven’t played the game yet, but it looks good. I just got it open, and I have to say, they did something really dumb with the box insert. All the components and cards are supposed to go in wells in the insert, but above the wells, there is a space left for the cardboard sprues the pieces are punched from, with the edges of the insert raised around them to the top of the box. Because of this, you can neither throw the sprues out nor put them under the insert. The only way to keep the components secure is to keep the sprues at the top of the box where they came. Not a big complaint, and if the game doesn’t turn out to be good, I’ll knock a couple stars off my rating, but the insert bothered me so much I wanted to take one off the top, and let people know right away.

We’ve played this every day since we got it!! Our family (ages 7-69) loves board games and this was one of everyone’s favorite new games from Christmas—it was even a hit with our few non-gamers!! It’s a 4-8 players party game, though it would be easy to add more players. Detective Club plays like a mix of Dixit (cool picture interpretation) and Spyfall (hidden spy deduction). The addition of the hidden conspirator role made Detective Club a much more appealing option for those in our group that prefer strategy games as compared to Dixit. I was a little worried about our 7 and 9 year olds being able to play the conspirator (“spy”) roll well, but they had no problems and managed to fool everyone multiple times. Rounds move quick and there’s lots social interaction, which makes it great for families and groups. I know we’ll be playing this Detective Club over and over!! Definitely highly recommended!!
