I don’t know whats more fun – playing the game, or watching my younger play the game. As a parent – this was a solid value from both perspectives.

Lots of running and jumping will tire these guys out. Be careful on footware, my hubby wiped out trying to do one of the tricks. You must go thru the tutorial to play this game correctly, otherwise you will be in last place everytime.

Storm the Albatross is a 19-year-old, hulking, anthropomorphic albatross and Jet’s right hand man. Standing at a height of 140 cm (4ft 7in) and weighing 80kg (176.3lbs), Storm is an imposing sight and powerful force, capable of destroying just about anything. Despite being committed to his duties, Storm has a quick temper, and his clumsiness constantly succeeds in embarrassing himself and the other Rogues. He also tends to stutter whenever he becomes excited or when he’s distressed. He is the rival of Knuckles the Echidna.Physical appearanceEditStorm has a gray-feathered, bulky and lean body with flame-shaped highlights of a darker shade of gray on his wrists, jagged, golden yellow beak with two nostril pits, beady blue eyes with black shading (possibly sclera) surrounding them and red bordering at the edges, three erected spikes of feathers of sticking out from the back of his head, tipped in a darker shade of gray, a very large portion of his torso and abdomen covered by an area of tufted white down feathers that extend to his back and a small, slightly bent bunch of feathers tipped in a darker shade of gray that serve as Storm’s tail. He wears tan gloves with large, sock-like cuffs fastened with a dark gray hoop made of metal, black sneakers with white and yellow stripe accented, reinforced by durable gray rubber soles, white socks, small beige goggles with clear lenses, a necklace of obvious tribal design of some sort that is consisted of two strings of brown thread made.

As for a review of the game, it’s basically what I thought it would be, Sonic Riders for the Kinect. If you’re a Sonic fan and need every Sonic game on your shelf like me, then you should give it a try. If not, maybe get like a dance game for the kinect or something, you might get more fun out of it. It might be a more difficult game for younger kids to get the hang of the controls. That being said, controls aren’t the best, having no controller option but what else can you expect from a Kinect game? Really it’s just a spin of game used for the gimmick of the Kinect, felt like a project that was really pushed aside by SEGA, but if you’re a true Sonic Riders fan it’s nice to at least have around. You might hate the controls, you might be ok with them, if you’re willing to put in the patients the game can be pretty fun. But it is pretty cool none the less. Really gives your knees a workout and it’s what I would imagine riding a hoverboard would be like. It’s really fun to play with friends, you get a lot of laughs out of it and the game engages your whole body, so it does feel entertaining. Feels a lot more like the original Sonic Riders, as they got rid of all the zero gravity mechanics. Lots of characters to chose from if you take the time to unlock them.As a review for the shop, awesome. No complaints. Package arrived on time and in great condition. Would buy from again!

This game is quite impressive with motion tracking and takes time to get the moves down just right. It’s extremely smooth and of course you can’t be a fat kid to play it (Being a former NCAA D1 sprinter makes it easier lol). Yes! Fat kids stop complaining as now you can’t just hit the “A” button to do secret moves. You actually have to interact with the game (hence Kinect with your body and not your thumbs). You’ll find yourself sweating and maybe even a bit of a workout if you’re not used to this type of gaming. There’s also an entirely different learning curve to these games as it’s full body motion and not button mashing or swinging a Wiimote in one hand. This is how Sonic Riders should have been in the first place unlike the first two cheesy installments. This takes it to a whole new level of gaming entirely customizable like something in life being super awesome. Like anything good it takes time to get used to it! Get off your butt, quit button mashing, and join the new generation of gaming!

Name: MikeAge: 21Sonic Free Riders is the only Kinect game i find myself booting up when I don’t have company over. When I’m entertaining guests it’s always Kinect Sports or Dance Central; but if it’s just myself, this has been my go-to game for single play. Once you get past the long (admittedly annoying) tutorial and begin to learn the ins and outs of the controls the game proves to be very fun. This is not a pickup and play casual game. It takes time and patience to learn the controls and exactly how to move your body. Because of this, Sonic Free Riders is one of my most played Kinect games. It has the hardcore-ish appeal that I need for a single player game, PLUS I get to use my Kinect and get a good workout.I’d recommend this game for anyone looking for a reason to use their Kinect when they don’t have guests over. It has its flaws here and there, but overall it’s a solid game and i always have a good time with it.
