This was super easy to set up (just plug in and turn on). The line-of-sight sensor issue with the controllers isn’t as bad as some other reviewers experienced. The only downside to this is the absence of more popular games (i.e. Pacman, Pitfall, etc.).

Love it. 1980s memories! And now I can show my kids what we played back in the day:) love centipede and asteroids, my favorite then and now!

Works just like the old Atari games. Basic but fun, Again, just like 20 or 30 ago not in hi-def. However it has a lot of games built-in. Worth the price.

At 40 years of age today, this console really brings me back to my childhood. Playing all the games that I grew up with before any high-resolution graphics this Atari system is a lot of fun

My husband wanted to purchase this one for his father for Christmas gift. We received it pretty fast even though holiday season. When his father received this gift, he was so happy. So, my husband and he played the game in two hours. They both had very good time with it.

I got this a few Christmases ago for my dog, maybe when it first came out because I definitely did not pay in the upper $20’s for this! My dad still plays with this to this day and sometimes we play together. It’s got a bunch of games that he loves to play. He’s not really into any of the newer video games and it’s perfect for him to be nostalgic over. No issues with the controls, reminds me of my wii, just have nothing in the way.

nice little console. I use the original atari controllers with it for the real feel of the games

Its a good re-incarnation, but its not perfect, and some of the games don’t play well. It would help alot if this included info on how to play some of the games, or some history of the games included. Overall, a good system, but it feels slightly incomplete.

This was a Christmas gift for my 36-yr-old son who remembers old Atari from his grade school days. Because he has all the other game consoles and popular zombie and military games, I was hesitant that this might be too simple and silly. He loved it and said it is actually just like playing the games he loved 25 years ago. The investment and the paddles I bought were outrageously LOW PRICED! I have spent more for just one X-Box game. Go quickly and buy this and have some great family fun!

ONLY reason I didnt rate 5 was I wasn’t excited with some of the games in the lineup. But it’s easy 4 stars for me. I like the cordless, and console functions from controler one. You get the magic of like being in 1982 in Wal Mart waiting behind some kid in a Michael Jackson red jacket to play the Atari demo hoping to sneak a game in before your mom says it’s time to leave. I get my retro fix for certain. I have noticed something. With the Space Invaders plug n Play controller, Space Invaders is tough. So when you play Space Invaders on Flashback 4, you tear Space Invaders up by comparrison. Bonus, lol. No but really. Solid pick up for the plug n play gamer and the super collector.
