This game is what im waiting for, a wonderful replacement of monster hunter. If you like monster hunter style action game then this one you wouldn’t wanna missed.pro: epic fight and well written story.con: some of the offerings are too powerful. graphic is only acceptable for psv’s capability

People tend to hate on the Vita. I don’t really know why. This little system is really making a name for itself with great titles routinely hitting the marketplace. This is another great title. If you’re looking for a Monster Hunter esque game for the vita without all the B.S., this is a must try. However, I did just see that Monster Hunter is making its way to the Vita, so you can either hold off or use this to satiate you in the meantime.

  3. John F Kernan

Good on the go fun. It’s fun unique style, picked it up on the cheap over the holidays, and i’m only a little bit in as i only have about 20 minutes a day to play, but it’s what it should be for a portable game. I guess if it was a console game I’d want more, but it’s not that and its good at what it is meant to be, a good fun portable game that’ll keep you coimng back.

  4. Merch'n'Perch

    Good sacrifice of 10 bucks

Soul Sacrifice is repetitive, no doubt, but anyone going into it and knowing the type of game (which I’m hoping retrolio users do) will love it. Great balance of grinding abilities and leveling. Only downside is that I wish there were more costume choices but the combat, mechanics, and endgame are so darn good I can’t complain.

A fun action packed game. One of the best ones out there for the ps vita system. I would recommend this game to my fellow sony portable system users.

Soul Sacrifice is a bit of a tough game to review. It’s fairly different from most games in the public eye, and its not for everyone. It was one of the first big exclusives to come to the PS Vita since Uncharted and Gravity Rush, but it’s not the game that will save the PS Vita from being condemned for lack of games. But first things first, the game itself and how it works. Soul Sacrifice’s( from hereon referred to as "SS") central conceit is centered in the game’s lore, namely sacrificing or saving the monsters that you fight. Each of the abilities that you use in SS draws from a limited number of uses or from your health pool. As you defeat smaller enemies, you can choose to either save or sacrifice them. Sacrificing the enemy will provide you with more uses for your various abilities. Saving them will refill your health. Either of these actions will also add to one of two experience bars. When the Sacrifice bar is filled, the player’s character does more damage with their attacks and gains more uses for abilities when sacrificing creatures. When the Save bar is filled, the player character’s health pool is enlarged and the amount of healing they receive from saving creatures or using healing spells is increased. The actual gameplay itself is a flurry of dodging attacks, dealing out your own, and managing your limited abilities. I’ve heard it compared to Monster Hunter quite a bit, and from the little Monster Hunter I’ve played, I would say that the two are similar,.

This is one of the most worthy game I’ve ever get. I got all the DLC and over 100 hours of game play for such a reasonable price. What else can I ask? It totally worth the price.

Great Game awesome replay value. Its like monster hunter and gods eater. If you like those kinds of games you will like this. You acquire powers by defeating monsters. If you meet certain requirements such as destroying their cursed parts or finishing up a mission in a quick amount of time you get more points for the mission and thus you get rewarded with a rarer more powerful prize to use in your upcoming battles.
