I had the G4me Zer0’s before but the headset broke by accident and i regret having lost them since.So i ordered the GSP 600’s from sennheiser because friends gave me a recommendation on it as they had the adjustable top headband to change the pressure points around the head but no matter what settings i had it onit constantly gave me headaches and heavy pressure on the ears even though the ears fit well around the pads.I can honestly say when after using the Gsp 600’s for like an hour you would easily get head fatigued and lots of pain but the microphone is as good as the G4me Zer0’s just more heavier and not comfortable not at all.I gave up on the Gsp 600’s and bought another set of the good old G4me Zer0’s and man you can wear it for a month without even knowing you got the headset on because it’s so light and super comfortable i will probably never take another recommendation from a friend again and just go with my own gutSennheiser’s G4me Zer0’s are the best gaming headsets you can get and i hope they won’t ever stop producing them also it doesn’t hurt having the GSX 1200 Pro DAC along the way for that ultra audiophile experience.
I have owned a few pairs of headphones over the years, then i saw these on sale one day, i was due for an upgrade and decided to give these a try after reading many reviews. all i can say is amazing.. gaming and music have literally come to life, outside noise is reduced to almost nothing. even on loud volume the sound is as pure as can be, no distortion, humming, buzzing.maybe someday i can afford some of the higher end headphones to see how they compare to these amazing ones.
Many of the criticisms against this headset are either outdated about the 150 ohm version or over things such as music quality that were not the design intention behind the headset. It was not intended to be a great headset for music or movies. It’s true that the sound quality is rather flat, the bass is lacking, the highs are tinny, but I don’t care about any of that because that is not the reason I bought this headset.This headset was created with the sole intention of accurately presenting the positions of sound, and it exceeds at it amazingly. For competitive action/fps gamers that rely on these sort of inputs to make split second judgments this performance metric is the only one that matters. I’ve been gaming competitively in Quake and Counter-Strike for 15 years now, and I have yet to hear a headset that is this accurate. For example in counter-strike, If I am retaking B bombsite on Dust2 as a CT I can tell instantly if a reload sound I am hearing is coming from closet behind the car, or the B tunnels. I can tell whether a guy is on the back of the site platform or slightly closer to me in the site by the stacked boxes. I could give you tons of examples but the point is that I am never left guessing at exactly where a sound is coming from. I always know the exact position instantly. I have previously used the hd555s and hd558s for more than a decade, and they are great headsets, but they are a peg below the game zero when it comes to positional accuracy..
Great headset, extremely comfortable and great sound quality for the speakers and microphone. Just make sure you have something to power this beast of a headset, an amplifier. Sennheiser’s website says these headphones are 50 ohms impedance, but other websites say they are up to 150 ohms. I have mine set on 150 ohms and they work great, I also have an Asus Xonar DG soundcard as the amplifier to power this headset.
I am very impressed with everything about this product so far. It took some tuning, but the sound quality is amazing and the 7.1 is everything I had hoped. Very good head feel and the ear cups are big enough to cover even my dumbo ears.
These have a great sound quality. Very clear. This headset is noise cancelling, so you won’t have to worry about outside sounds distracting you from your game. Definitely recommend.
Paired with a Sound Blaster Zx and some software tweaking and some time burning in the cans and these things Really bring out some great sound. Music and games sound so much better when compared to my last headset, which was a Creative Sound Blaster Fatality, which the left can had started to get issues, so getting these when I did was a good step up.Took about 2 weeks to really burn these in using *Pink Noise* off of youtube, playing for 10 hours a day while at work.The Mic is Awesome! and the noise cancelation is insane! no1 in TS can hear my case fans on my Corsair Air 540, an there at full RPM lolz.All in all this is a Great Headset, and there pretty durable so far, dropped them once from the top of the case and they took no damage so there build quality is very good.Only Gripe is that they packaged my headset in a Fraking cordboard like bag, Are you Kidding me~! a $280+ headset and you put them in a damn bag ? My package came pretty beatup but thankfully Sennheiser Knows how to Package there hardware so the headset was fine.But my Advice to the shop, Put these or anything in that case thats over say $100 in a BOX with peanuts etc etc, cause buying this headset and then seeing that the packaging was pretty messed up, pissed me off, and I wouldn’t be the only one that feels that way if the same happened to someone else
Great headset crisp bass, clear sound, great microphone with flip up to mute function. Only thing wrong is it’s a little quieter than any other headphones I have, use of amplifier recommended but not really needed.Will be buying sennheiser from now on for my gaming headset needs. I am a medical interpreter and I always buy Sennheiser headsets. They never disappoint me. This model is actually part of my previous company’s equipment for each VRI/Video medical interpreter. After I quit I decide to buy one for myself for my freelance work since I already had a great experience from my previous job. It is light and clear and I think customers are happy with my sound quality too.
After reading reviews it was time to pull the trigger, very very glad I did!! This headset is probably the most comfortable headset I’ve used. Long gaming sessions do not hurt the ears whatsoever. If you are between these and the ONE series, the only thing to consider is whether or not you want to be able to hear whats going on outside your gaming session, as the noise canceling is so good that I have to remove one of the ear pieces to hear haha. The mic works beautifully, without catching background noise which is also nice. So far, I have ZERO complaints about this set-up!!

Very comfortable. Good ambient sound isolation. Convenient volume control with good control range. The sound quality is very good, much better than I had expected. I use them for gaming, and to listen to music from an iPad. Recommended if you want good isolation and sound quality for a reasonable price.

Sound quality is decent and microphone is definitely an upgrade from my cloud2’s. I’m very happy with these and really like the auto mute when mic is swivled up. These are closed back and are pretty good at keeping ambient room noise out which is a plus for me. An open back would allow better audio quality so if that is more important to you I would look elsewhere.

Best headset I have ever had. I have been through a handful of them but this one is the best one. I can wear them for long periods of time with no problems. The sound quality is also great, I have it hooked up with Razer Synapse surround sound with no DAC or soundcard,but this may be different for some of you depending on your pc setup. They are also very well put together and the mic quality is great!!! No cons on these for me! Will purchase Sennheiser products again!

Great at isolating my voice from the ambient noise in a house with children in it (especially when used with Nvidia RTX Voice, but it works really well either way). Additionally, fantastic sound quality for games and/or music. Highly recommend. Blows away my previous Razer Tiamat 7.1 IMHO.

The version I received works fine with no amp plugged directly into my Xbox one controller. I saw a review from a few months back saying that you needed an amp and that these were the older model. The version I received has a detachable cable and an alternate shorter cable with a 4 pole adaptor built in so you don’t need to buy the pc adaptor for these to work. Amazing sound and extremely comfortable so far.I will leave an updated review after I have used them for a few months.

My grandson uses these fir gaming with friends every single day. The sound quality is amazing. Tge boom microphone swings up to mute. He can wear these fir hours without them becoming uncomfortable or sweaty. Another great product from Sennheiser!

Sennheiser became my exclusive gaming headset after the last headset (PC 350) I owned lasted six years before the padding finally wore out. As of my second year owning this Game Zero, I have yet to have any problems with the sound or quality. The padding is just starting to wear out a little, but it will be awhile before it gets bad enough that I’ll need to replace it.I own the older Game Zero that requires an amp, but I see those are no longer manufactured that way. In a way, I’m kind of glad I got the one requiring an amp, but I can definitely understand why they would scale back.

Very solid package here. This is a great sounding headset with one of the most comfortable earcups in the market (though they could get hot sometimes). The mic is also one of the best because it doesn’t make you sound far away or muffled. I got I believe in 2015, but someone stole them from me. If I still had them they would still be rocking.

I use this primarily for online work meetings and don’t use it for more than 1-2 hours each day.The headset is comfortable but not luxuriously so. My ears get sweaty when the room is hot. The pressure is fine and the unit is light enough.The mic is great! I love the ability to mute the mic by flipping the boom up. I never forget to unmute myself when it’s time to talk. The boom is adjustable so it’s easy to get the down position just right.I bought this Game Zero, rather than the Game One, because it had the closed back style. I was worried about being distracted by noise in the room and the closed back blocks more outside sound.The disadvantage to this design is that your voice doesn’t sound natural to your ears. Because there is no “side tone†(playback of mic input to your headphones) to make up for this it takes time and effort to learn to speak at the right volume. If you don’t need to block ambient sound I recommend the Game One, which has an open back, instead.I’m not a gamer so I can’t comment on its usefulness for that. For music it’s sufficient. There’s nothing seriously out of balance.

If all you’re looking for is a great comfortable headset for gaming with a really good mic then you are gonna love this headset. It sounds very natural during games, especially fps games, but in any type of game really. Great quality sound especially if you have a good motherboard with good enough audio solution. I have an MSI Z390 pro carbon mobo, and I’m using Realtek audio drivers + Dolby Atmos software, and it sounds amazing! (for games). If you have a very decent sound solution on your motherboard DO NOT get an external amp or audio card! I have tried the Sennheiser GSX 1000 and trust me, I set it up correctly and the sound quality was worst than my mobo audio solution, so I just returned the amp. The gsx 1000 is also a very outdated and expensive amp, so if you gonna go for an amp, go for the SoundBlasterX G6.Going back to the headset… they are extremely comfy, and the build quality is top-notch. The cable is detachable so it won’t break unless you cut it or something lol, however; I personally find the cable to be a bit annoying since MANY times they get stuck in my chair wheels because the cable is too long. Also, I say the headset is only good for gaming because the bass is unexistent, there is almost no bass which is a NO for music, and maybe even movies if you like to feel the bass.
