For me, Sennheiser headphones & headsets have always been top-of-the-line products, and this particular set is no exception. Everything about it says "well-engineered, made with high-quality components, built to last". The sound is superb. I love the large, dialable volume control on the side of the right earpiece. Very comfortable. I have medium-sized ears, and the earpieces fit well around my ears. The cable unplugs from the earpiece, so can be replace if something happens to it. The headset comes with 2 cables, a longer one with two connectors: stereo mic and stereo speaker/sound plugs. The shorter cable has one connector plug with both mic and speaker functions incorporated into it, so that you don’t absolutely need an adapter to connect to a laptop with a single input for headsets. If you want to use the longer cable to connect to a single-input jack, you will need an adapter cable. I love this headset.

Doesn’t fully block out the noise but doesn’t affect your gaming exp. It’s more of a great noise reduction than noise cancellation. The part I love the most is the comfortable ear pads. I had it on for hours at a time while gaming on the weekend and that’s saying a lot about headphones! It’s really hard to find a pair that won’t leave your ears tender and sensitive to the touch! For the sound quality, you can hear every sound detail in the game! Crystal clear in my opinion.

I dislike the placement of the cord – I can hear it rubbing over my clothing. I actually don’t like how they are sealed so tightly that I can’t hear myself talk. Both will take some getting used to. At least if I slide them back a bit over one or both ears, neither of those things bother me. On the plus side, there’s no sign of loose screws, something mentioned in a few other reviews. I love the foldiness of them. I like the tightness of the mic arm – it stays where you put it.

The audio quality on the listening headset is simply superb, exactly what you’d expect from Sennheiser, not audiophile quality but still simply top notch. For the purpose of gaming, it cannot be beat. The Mic isn’t the best in the world but it is a far cry from the worst and for being integrated into the headset, I absolutely cannot and will not complain. This is my second one (snapped the mic on the first… very upset at myself for that..) and the ONLY thing I have to complain about, is the choice of pleather they used to cover the headband and ear cups. Mine wore out on the ears after just 1.5 years of usage, and Sennheiser doesn’t openly sell replacements in the US! They do in Europe, but you have to call in to them in the US to place an order for them, and that’s in the year 2017! Simply barbaric… (half-joking.)Complications aside, would absolutely suggest to anyone who considers themselves a gaming enthusiast.

Good:Bought it for Dragon Naturally Speaking. Use it with the USB dongle from Dragon and it does a good job.Like the mic.Nice build.Has a hard case.Folding headset. Two sets of easily changed wires.Wires feel well made and durable.Good sound localization for games but I don’t use it for games.Volume control in ear piece.Pivoting mic.OK:Soundstage ok for a closed headset at this price point. Not good:Noise isolation not that good.Headset not as comfortable as I hoped.Voice recognition not as good as I had hoped but good.Case design could be better.OverallI don’t regret buying it.

Bought these for my gaming son. He said they are the best noise canceling and quality headphones he has had to date.

Boy do I feel silly…So I bought this headset about 2 years ago now and have always felt underwhelmed by the volume levels. I’ve looked into drivers, other reviews, read about sound cards, amplifiers, and so on. Besides drivers and other software, I never did anything to improve the sound because everything I had read said my MB integrated sound card was more than enough to get good sound out of this headset…WRONG!I have an MSI X99S Krait Edition MB and this week decided to install the Asus Xonar DGX sound card….WOW! The sound from this headset is AMAZING. I’m glad I never reviewed the headset until now but feel like an idiot for not acting sooner. This headset is worth every penny; I highly recommend you spend the extra $30 for a sound card if you don’t already have one.

1st Day: That’s it???2nd Day: Yooooo. Now I understand the hype!Let me explain.Out of the box and plugged into my rig’s on-board sound, they were tin-like (spatial, high on treble), and the headset drivers sounded like they were rattling. I thought that this headset was defective out of the box. Then I did a little research into my motherboard’s specs and on-board sound driver software. After creating a custom EQ profile, the sound just woke up! I am VERY impressed with how these sound in PUBG, AC Origins and for general YouTube/Music listening.Points to Consider:1.) If the sound on these out of the box sound weak, take a look at your computer’s on-board sound driver/software (ex. Asus Sonic Studio, Razer Surround). If it offers built in EQ profiles or if you can create a custom one, play with these options.2.) If you build your own gaming PCs, research the headset impedance the motherboard supports. I’m running an Asus ROG STRIX B350-F which supports headsets ranging 32-600ohms. The Game Zeros are 50ohms. The GAME ZEROS sound phenomenal using this motherboard’s on-board sound. If you’re and Audio Nut *and* easily part your cash, then spend the extra $180 to $300 on a DAC.IMHO you won’t need one.

You have to make sure that your audio drivers are up to date… when I got the headsets I tried them immediately but with a big dissapointment as the sound was VERY poor… but I thought that something was wrong at the same time, so I went and did my research and everything, had all updated and the Realtek equalizer tweaked, searched forums and got the sound I wanted, Microphone works perfectly, people in skype hear me very clearly and the mute feature is really neat. Most comfrotable Headsets I have ever used (I owned the famous HyperX cloud and although they are very comfy, Game Zero exceeded my expectaions).Case is very useful for portability as the headset is collapsible. You can bearly hear yourself when you put them on and the sound positioning while gaming is very precise, upon checking other reviews, its true that this headset is NOT made for music although the sound is good quality, but for gaming (Because its obviously a headset), this goes above and beyond.

These headsets are great for gaming clear sound and mic. My son ran these hard for almost two years and one of the metal earpiece pivots began to wear out. Contacted Sennheiser and returned the headset for repair. A week later a brand new set arrived shipped without a charge and again the positive headset experience is on. Great warranty support. Highly recommended.
