I think my title explains my opinion already. I’ve had this game for a few days and so far, I’m loving every minute of it. Could the controls be a bit tighter? Yeah, I guess so. Does it hinder the gameplay? NO! Not nearly as badly as everyone is saying it does.I bought Web of Shadows this summer in anticipation for this game. I played all the way through it (did everything, got every single achievement, etc.) and Web of Shadows was probably one of the glitchiest games I’ve ever played on the 360, hands down. It was a huge sandbox title, and that was great. However, the last 1/3 of the game got so hectic that the whole game engine seemed like it was about to implode on itself. The game wasn’t able to maintain 20-25 FPS, which I think is absolutely ridiculous for something released in past 4-5 years. It is especially ridiculous for a non-port console game on the 360, which developers always say is the easiest console to code games for.Shattered Dimensions runs smooth the entire time. I haven’t seen it stutter once since I bought it. The whole game is vibrant and beautiful, and it plays out like one giant comic book. I don’t want to say the game is cel-shaded (although on the Amazing and Ultimate levels, it’s awful close), but it’s definitely something in between normal and cel-shaded. It’s perfect for this type of comic-book game.Did I mention the voice-acting? The voice-acting in this game is INCREDIBLE. (The voice-acting in Web of Shadows was horrendous, so this gets huge mar.
I am a big fan of Spiderman and seeing how this game looked, I had to give it a shot. I mean comic book like artstyle, 4 different versions of Spiderman and worlds and variety of villains, got to check it out. After spending 16+ hrs on this game (finished on normal mode and unlocked almost everything), here is what I thought.******************PROS******************AMAZING ARTWORK OF 4 DIFFERENT SPIDERMEN AND 4 DIFFERENT UNIVERSES: This is the first and foremost thing you will notice if you are a Spiderman fan such as myself. They have done really good job animating 4 different versions of Spiderman (Spectacular Spiderman, Noir Spiderman, 2099 Spiderman and Ultimate Spiderman), 4 different worlds and most importantly villains in 4 different worlds. As you progress further and further into the game, you will get to experience more and more of this variety and chances are you will like what you see.13+ VILLAINS OF SPIDERMAN UNIVERSE: To me, after artwork, this was the strongest aspect of the game. There are 14 different levels. First is just tutorial. Then the next 12 levels you have 12 different bosses with different powers. So each Spiderman gets 3 different bosses each and then all 4 of them get to defeat one final boss in level 13. The best part is each one of these bosses is very artistically animated and for most part there is some level of creativity and variety involved in boss battles. Loved it just loved it. If you are a Spiderman fan you should buy this game just for.

i got this game because i hadnt played a spider man game for years aside from friend vs foe on the DS, which was crap. this on the other hand was great on the 360. it had me laughing and using some of my best sneeking skills. there are alot of puns in this game and they are so cheesy and stupid you cant help but laugh at them. it takes a bit to learn what spider-man can do what, but once you have that down, the game is a blast. plus there are more then enough things to complete for the perfectionist gamer. (the type that have to get and complete every last little thing in the game) i have had only two glitches but they where eaily taken care of with a restart which i happily found out, only takes you back to your last checkpoint and not the begining of the whole level. if you have been hurt by the other spider-man games and want something to show you that not all is lost. get this. but even if you havent been hurt by the other games, get it anyways lol. its not to overly long but there are alot of things to go back and get plus alot of upgrades to buy as well, which will take more then 2 or 3 play throughs.
This game is great for Spiderman fans I gave it 5 star because he is my favorite hero. If ur a spidey fan this game is awesome.

We bought this for my son’s 10th birthday. My son loves this game. Great for Spider-man fans! I’d recommend it.

I Pre-Ordered Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions back before Sept. 7th(Am getting to writing this now, finally), and when I found out I had to wait through 7 hours of school before I get to play this game on the 7th, I died on the inside. When I got home I opened up retrolio’s beautiful packaging(;-]) and there it was! The Video Game along with the Strategy Guide I had Ordered also. The art booklet was interesting, altho not my main interest. Also There were great voice actors (Neil Patrick Harris, Christopher Daniel Barnes, Dan Gilvezan, and Josh Keaton)Each charecter also has great jokes up their sleeves. The game itself was fantastic! I followed it all since the announcment of the title. With 4 different versions of Spider-Man this game was sure to be a winner, well…I was wrong, It was more! More Recent Spidey Games have sucked…to be honest, but this one is worth more than $60.I may be just in love with this game but it’s really is amazing! Each dimension has it’s own ART STYLE for god’s sake! And First Person Scenes when fighting bosses(at certain points) Each Level has about 1 hour in speed running time(about) Lots of replay value, and features(Like hidden spiders,”Web Of Destiny”, and Alternate Costumes!)! So let me get into a In-Depth Reveiw of each dimension then I’ll get to the extras.Amazing Spider-Man – The Spidey We all know and love! the Spectacular Spider-Man! I really like this game because there are 4 really neat dimensions. The Amazing universe has lots of really cool fighting attacks that use a lot of web. You can be slamming rocks into guys by digging them out of the ground with your web. Then their is the Ultamite dimension. It is really fun to use the black suit because you will see it extend out and just throw bad guys around. It can also make a bunch of spikes shoot out of your body. There is also a mode called rage mode which makes your attacks more powerful but it has to recharge and it only lasts for a little bit. Next, is the Noir dimension. It is like a Batman type style. You do really cool stealth takedowns on armed enimies. But you still do fighting. Last, is the 2099 dimension. It is really fun to use him because he has two unique abilities. The first is free fall. It is used when you are going down into high tunnels. One is accelerated vision. Every thing goes really slow for a little bit, and like rage mode it has to recharge also. There is also first person fighting. It is really fun. I love this game.

Don’t get me wrong, this is a great game. I personally played through the campaign multiple time to get all the upgrades for all four Sprider-Men! But the game’s layout is different form other Spidey games. Instead of swinging freely around NYC like it’s predecessors, you have about 3 or 4 sets of Levels that are essentially themed to whatever super villain will be awaiting you at the end of the level. They go in a specific order of gameplay:1- Amazing (regular- ol’ red and blue Spidey)2- Noir (stealth- <the best to me> You could draw comparisons to Batman: Arkham Asylum/City’s steals components)3- 2099 (futuristic suit with the Ability to Slow Down time- quite similar to the Amazing, above)4- Ultimate (Symbiote suit with the a Rage Ability that is pretty cool- plays with a similarity to God Of War.If your looking for a story that will knock your socks off, this is not for you. While it’s not the worst, it’s certainly not the best.It’s very interesting to see how some of the Super villains are portrayed in the different universes.All in all its a good game if GAMEPLAY is what your interested in.

so, I got this at gamestop yesterday 7/10/12 and I’m a huge spidey fan so I had to check it out and man oh man this game is so awesome the story is just so siiiick basically the main villian in the story is mysterio and he finds a powerful artifact and become’s the master of illustion litterly so through out the game spiderman has to go to 4 dimensions to find the artifacts basically spidey relive’s from his past, present and the future to find the remaining articfatct’s and fight Vultur and Green Goblin I dont want to spoil the rest but aleast you get the idea who spidey will be facing during his campaign. I’ve read some review’s that this game was to cartoonish to me it was perfect for the game and the cinematic was really interesting aswell it entertain me for sure now the spider-man’s saracsim in this game is just so funny even his some of the most silly remark’s he make’s like “Oh Shock or Dont let the bed bugs bite” was just too funny also during in the most intense fighting scene’s are really awesome it will switch to first person view on what spidey is seeing any way I’m about to play Spider-man Edge Of Time and when I beat it I will get with my review as soon as possible.

lol, I know it’s a risk given something 5 stars. However, I had SO SO SO much fun playing this game, it totally deserves them! Keep in mind, I’m a comic geek, so maybe that’s why I loved it so much. It’s just fun all around! :)
