All of the splinter cell games are incredible, so going into this review I was expecting great things. Needless to say, this game blew me away. Not only is it more fun to play then the first two Spinter Cell games, but it looks about ten times better then Pandora Tomorrow. This is by far the best looking consol game I have ever seen. Yes better then Halo 2, Doom 3, DOA Ultimate. Better then all of those games. The textures are freaking unbelieveable. Individual pieces of gravel on the ground, textured bricks on a wall, its just incredible.Lets talk abour multiplayer…well…it rocks. It has co-op online which is great. I havent gotton to see if it has the same multiplayer from PT, but if it does, watch out Halo.Overall, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theroy is the best of the best when it comes to StealthAction games. If you have an X-box or a good PC, get it before its gone.Concept- Bring back the worlds most loved spy and make him ten times better.Presintation- 9.7- The box art is a little off(except on the collectors edition) but everything is put together well.Graphics- 10- the best looking consol game ever, textures are incredible, aminations are top notch, everything is awesom.Sound- 10- The first time sound has played a major, and I mean major, role in gameplay. Its done really well.Playability- 9.6- The shooting elements are a little eh but otherwise its great.Entertainment- 9.6- Never has sneeking up behind someone and cuttinmg their throught been more fun.Replay Value- 9.6-.

The multiplayer portion of this game is so good it’ll have you playing for hours on end. The fact that there are 11 new multiplayer maps is enough for you to go out and buy this game, that is if you are Xbox Live enabled. All of these maps are very “hands on” when it comes to gameplay. You will find plenty of hiding spots, crawl spaces, ventilation shafts, switches, and buttons that will make each game new and exciting. These maps are much more detailed than anything you’ve seen in past games and with so many ways to complete the task at hand, each time you play it will seem very new. There are 3 different gametypes that you can choose from when setting up a game online. They are story mode, disk hunt, and last but not least a deathmatch mode. In the story mode, the spies try to comlete a task while the mercs try to stop them. When you complete a certain part, another area usually becomes accessable where another task needs to be completed. In the disk hunt mode, the spies much search for and collect disks scattered across the map. This is a pretty easy gametype to play as it requires less skill than the previous story mode. The last type is pretty self explanitory where each team tries to kill the other. While the graphics and visuals in multiplayer aren’t as top-notch compared to the single player campaign, they are in no way less superior. The graphics are great and keep the multiplayer fresh and new. I don’t think anyone can gripe about the graphics in the multi.

The missions are very fun and if you have the patience, you can definatly complete them. I’ve played many games in the past where I quit because I get stumped. This one is very capable of changing your stradegy to find another way to beat a level. Also, th versus mode is like playing another game completely. I have so much fun with my game clan. We laugh at one another because we choke each other or blow one another up. Its so much fun. The co-op is awesome also! I suggest that you get this game. I almost didn’t get it, but my friends reccomended it and I don’t regret it. It will take some time to get used to the contrils though, but don’t give up.The graphics are so realistic that you can see the fear in the eyes of your opponet. You don’t have it, get it! You won’t regret it!

Ive played and tremendously enjoyed the first two Splinter Cell series, but this one is far and away the best, in fact its the best game in its genre, no other tatical/action game comes close. These are the best graphics I’ve seen for the X-Box (and I have Doom 3, Halo 2 and Riddick). The textures look incredible and its incredibly immersive, this game sucks you right in. The enemy AI has drastically improved, the enemy responds to broken lightbulbs and locks the added all round intelligence makes the game extremely believable. The only feature that marred the last 2 Splinter Cells’ was the enemies lack of intelligence and common sense, most of this has been corrected. The 5.1 mix of this game is perhaps the best that I own, you are put right in the middle of the environment, guards walk and talk behind you and sounds swirl around you with great effect, and the ambient sounds are fantastic. Sometimes when dogs are barking or birds chirping, I actually have to put the sound on mute to check if its coming from the game or outside, its that good! All in all, this is the best game for X-box I’ve ever played. You wouldnt be disappointed.

If you played the first two games in this series you’ll be right at home. You’re able to run and gun more than in the past and it’s nice not to be punished as much for setting off alarms. The controls, graphics (unfortunately you’re usually in the dark), and sound are top notch.

What an amazing game! In all of my years of playing games I have never seen a multipayer anywhere close to the one in Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. Especially multilayer mode. It isn’t the average 1st person shooter/3rd person action game, it is a hybrid of the two. You are able to play as either SHADOWNET Spies or ARGUS Mercenaries. The SHADOWNET Spies are in 3rd person and take on the roll that is somewhat like Sam Fisher’s. You are able to snap the necks of, jump onto and pull Mercenaries over a railing. Even with Thermal Optical Camouflage, this is a very difficult task in deathmatch mode [new and the most popular mode in Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory]. The ARGUS Mercenaries, on the other hand, are equipped with either an assault rifle, a submachine gun or a double-barrel tactical shotgun. Equipped With Grenades, Smart Mines, Motion Vision and ElectroMagnetic Vision, they are spy-killing machines.New Spy Abilities:a. Rail Grabb. Lethal Drop TechniqueNew Spy Gadgets:a. One of the ALL TIME GREAT stealth espionage games. Sam Fisher back to work in this great game. I had to get it again on the classic Xbox. It is always great to be the greatest Splinter Cell of all time

    Really fun

  9. Susan M. Ratzloff

This game beats everything out of the other two. The story line is much better and is as much fun as the first splinter cell, and the multiplayer is a gstep up from Pandora Tommorrow, which, by the way, someone said they didnt know why is was released… the one player was bad, yah, but it was the most innovative online game, and Chaos Theroy only adds to that with new weapons, maps, and even online co-op.

Game was great. Lots of action. Not as good as Pandora Tomorrow or the original SPlinter Cell, but it was still decent.
