I buy this game for my husband’s son and I think he is happy with it. Never complaints about the game.

As a long time platformer, my first N64 game was StarFox64. Staying true to its layout and function with the original game, the 3DS version brings new excitement with highly detailed game elements and added physics (they aren’t as obvious but if you played the original enough, you’ll notice the difference). Oh, and the shooting control has been modified to reduce a touch (a slower push on the firing button results in a rapid fire of four shots rather than one per press.. it will save your hardware, I killed more N64 controllers with the original). One minor downside, they redid the voice acting for every scene in the game; some of which were reworded or altered to where they sound more… cartoon like? (Andross just doesn’t sound as sinister any more). If you are looking for a new experience with StarFox64, turn on the gyro controls which utilizes the accelerometer hardware in the 3DS itself. Its a bit tricky and you’ll find that you want to sit on a swivel stool or a computer chair with no arms to keep yourself from falling to the floor.I haven’t gotten a chance to use the multilayer function too much, but from the solo battle, I can see that the battles could be quite intense with four fighters duking it out for barging rights. The only thing I can say is I wish the 3DS 3d screen was a little bigger. But that’s for another review.

Awesome version. Still a little short in terms of overall gameplay, but its always there when you wanna do some quick aerial battles and shoot down some baddies in an awesome ship, here it is. The gameplay is still great like on the 64, the only complaint I have is that it is a little difficult to manuver sometimes, mostly because my hand cramps up due to the size of the 3DXL. Peppy and the crew are still amazingly annoying, and Fox is probably the dullest protagonist of all time. But the battles are awesome, levels are quick and awesome, and the graphics look great. Colors are vibrant, everything is crips, and the 3D is awesome. If your looking for a game that can give you quick thrills and a great time, here it is.

Not only does it have the originals Game play but the game also has a 2nd feature to it. I’d rather play on the original feature but the other is enjoyable too. PLUS THE MULTIPLAYER IS A MUST PLAY.

I found it tot be a great remake of the Star Fox game and believe that other fans will agree with me though I do hope for a chea tcode device that works for this game and others on this system to be made soon.

This game is pretty darn good. I like it and have much nostalgia for the star craft vehicles. I also like how graphics for the 3s

Classic 64 gameplay in a handheld. Of course it’s awesome! Enjoyably nostalgic with a graphical overhaul, with a few new features.

It’s as good as it was on Nintendo 64. There are some tweaks but in general it’s the same thing. It’s not revolutionary by any means so it doesn’t get 5/5, but its still fantastic if you liked it back in the day.
