Encouraging and positive messages are sprinkled throughout this book. I love the idea of “super powers†and the gorgeous illustrations! The option to list your own superpowers and the art at the end are a nice touch too. Should be in all children’s libraries!!

Our family loved Lori’s first book about Nathan’s Superpowers and we loved reading about Hannah’s too!! These books are so well written and explain Autism and Down Syndrome in such an honest and engaging way that is perfect for kids to understand. The “helpful hints for friends†are a highlight as they really empower the kids reading this book to gain a deeper understanding of these special children and empowers them to have greater and more meaningful interaction and relationships. I highly recommend these books for everyone!!
