  1. OhThisAndThat

This game is just too cool! I can’t get over how fun it is! So many great things about it, like the music, cute suits, ugh..my mind is so excited about all that this game entails, that it’s freaking out as I’m writing this review. Bottom line: If you have an ounce of love in your soul for previous Mario games, I believe you will 100% like, if not LOVE, this game! WAAHOO! :) 20 yr old female very casual gamer- I feel this game would make a super gift for a child~

  2. The House That Shamrock Built

Let just say when i first saw this game advertise on t.V Honestly thought it to be just another hyped” Mario brothers game . So I really got it because of boredom but to my surprise this game is pretty good ! I played this game for hours on my 3Ds and love the fun i had with it . With the nice 3D graphics along with advance gamplay for mario this game defiantly lived up to the hype Nintendo made for it ! All I got to say is hey ! you get the game it’s worth it !!!

  3. Cristina

I picked this up for my Mario- obsessed son and he was thrilled with it. It is more challenging then Mario Kart, and even some of the other Mario Land games, but still enjoyable. I found it was a little too frustrating for my son, he is very much a perfectionist and doesn’t handle "dying" in the game well. Otherwise, I think this is a good one is pretty cool.

  4. Adam Fabian

The game starts off easy, but gets hard toward the end. It’s fully of inventive novelties that keep you very interested. It does a good job of catering to players of all skill levels, because if you die five times in a row, you can optionally get an invincibility suit. But you don’t have to take the suit, if you prefer the challenge, which I do. The game gives you tons of extra lives–they might as well be unlimited. It’s what Nintendo does best. It’s just fun. It doesn’t absolutely wow you with eye popping graphics, shock you with gore or violence–there are just well-designed levels, great game mechanics, good pacing, and a steady stream of novel elements. So much gaming these days seems to be aiming for “shock and awe.” It’s nice when a company designs a game putting FUN first.

Got this last year for a Christmas present for my son. He loves the game

  6. Bret Ronald Strunk

So much content and great fun. Couldn’t ask for more from a portable game. There were 48 levels before beating the game. Then ANOTHER 48 in the special world as well as the challenge of getting 3 stars for all of the levels. I have probably spent about 25+ hours on the game and there is still a lot of content left.

  7. Molly Labby

Love, love, love! Such a great 3ds game, I couldn’t be happier! The game was in the correct case, sealed and everything. Thank you so much! :)

  8. Peter Maya

one of the top 3ds games out there

  9. APT ANALYSIS

Being an avid fan of the Mario series especially Super Mario Bros. 3 for NES, Super Mario Land 2 for Gameboy, Super Mario 64 for N64 and the vastly under appreciated and underrated Super Mario Sunshine for Gamecube; i felt there was a massive void between my favorites and now. I played galaxy 1 and 2 but didn’t feel the same about them. Then i get my hands on Super Mario 3D Land, what a great effort to bring Mario back in a way that’s familiar and reminiscent of the classics but with a new school 3D twist. After hours upon hours of playing it i realized that this game has become a top 5 Mario game for me. If your a big fan of the old Mario games like me, you will fall in love with Nintendo all over again with this one. :)

  10. Crissy

This game is so underrated. To me it was as nostalgic as Super Mario 64. For being a 3Ds game, the graphics are not that bad. People say that it was not good because it didn’t live up to the title of being a true 3D Mario game like Sunshine or the Galaxy games, but it definitely started a turn for 3D Mario games. 3D World wouldn’t have even happened if this game didn’t exist, and Odyssey took some inspiration from 3D World, so in all, I feel 3D Land wasn’t the best 3D Mario game out there, but it doesn’t deserve the title of being called the worst, as many people think of it that way.
