It was a fairly easy game for an experienced Mario player but there is a surprise that I didn’t know about that made it a much more challenging game. Maybe it is because I didn’t read any reviews or watch anything about the game. But I was really pleased with it. I managed to get it when it was only $25 and the trade-in value was around 12. Now the price went up and the trade-in went down. I will likely keep it because it is one of those games I expect to be a classic.

This game was not what I expect it to be it is more awesome than I thought it would be. Its like New Super Mario Bros. and Mario Galaxy merged into this great game. The new suit the return of the tanooki suit is awesome it fits right in. The levels are great they are like I said Mario Galaxy and Mario Bros merged into an awesome game. I like it its fun the graohics are better than the wii and they are awesome. I totally recommend this fame for everyone its a must have if you own a 3ds like Mario Kart, Star Fox 64 3d, New Super Mario Bros. Pokemon X and Y, and many others that I forgot to mention like Zelda etc.Get it just get it its worth it come on its right there just order it here or go to a local store and buy it.

I am a Mario fan from back in the day of the original SMB. This game is a bit different in that you don’t just travel from left to right or up and down like normal due to the 3D effect. When you (Mario) fall, you get the experience of the fall! This may sound weird but I have a fear of heights, and this game actually brings that out in some of the worlds. It’s quite intense. When jumping up on a platform or box as Mario does all the time, you have to have alot of control because he not only can fall off the front of it (as with the other Mario games like The New SMB 2), but he can also fall off both sides too. I find it a little bit hard, and am glad they offer a "Fly to Flag Pole" easy way, when some worlds I just can’t get through on my own.

This game is surprisingly fun, I found myself actually oohing and ahhing while playing it! lol and it’s longer than I expected, for example when you finish the first part of the game I expected you to be able to play as Luigi through all the levels, but all of the levels after beating Bowser are different, whether thats entirely new levels (quite a few), different star coin locations, or add-ins like timed levels or the cosmic Mario chasing you. This game surprised me, and I’m still playing through it, and I havn’t been disappointed yet! (EXCEPT the level with the giant cosmic Mario, he was a pain in the butt haha, but this wasn’t really a disappintment because it was still really fun)

The Easter Bunny brought our 5-year-old son a 3DS with a Ninjago game (his current obsession). The game was a little advanced for him (and required a lot of reading), so he was quickly discouraged. After talking to some friends and reading the reviews, I ordered this. Instant hit! He quickly got the hang of the controls and in no time was breezing through levels. We had a hard time getting him to put it down, and I’m sure we’ll have issues with that in the future… but if you’re looking for a great starter game (graphics are suberb!), this is it. You won’t be disappointed.
