I just got mines a few days ago ! It came in perfect condition no scratches at all! The atari included 16 games with it. I had no problems with it on my modern tv . Shipping is ok but besides that this a great product. Great for a retro hang out or for a collection. Not worth collecting dust ! Overall this is a great console!5/5

I will list all of the great titles to look for, as well as give you the link for buying up to 50 games for 100.00 or less free shipping. Atari2600.com is where to go.Okay, now, I was born in the Early 90’s, so i remember a time when games were not 3D movies, and in the Snes’ Heyday, Mario was king. I never knew of the Atari back then, only heard my mom, grandma and aunt talk about how much fun it was and how cool all the games were, they really seemed to Love the thing back then. Yet, i still never saw one until i was 7, my mom brought home a weird looking consonle, that was small and had metal switches on it. I didnt know what it was, but it looked weird, and on top of that, It was a Sears model atari 2600, which i figured out later on.My brother and i did not know what to do with it and our step dad hooked it up, I saw the COmbat cartridge and popped it in. Sounded cool, and Boy, me and my brother had a blast on this “NEW” gaming thing, and it was awesome shooting at one another from tanks. We wanted to play all night but we had to go to school or something, and i never recall playing it again until i was well up and grown as an adult. Now im Completely obsessed with atari and its 8-bit Pixel Action! The graphics are pretty Dad gummed good, but who cares about the graphics because it makes up for that in gameplay. Top down action from Centipede, Zelda characteristics in Adventure, and there is even a Mario Bros. cartridge! YAY ME!Now, the 2600 is not a “WIFI” kinda thing, i.

This is a great system to get. These systems have been around for awhile and are still fun today. There are many versions of this system like the heavy sixer, Sears heavy sixer, light sixer, Sears light sixer, the 4 switch, the Sears 4 switch, the darth vader black 4 switcher, 2600 jr., and the Coleco gemini. There are also ways to play games for this system on other system like the 5200, 7800, and colecovision. The older ones have a built in rf cable so you will have to have a manual switch-box or something else. Most of the games are very cheap and games like pac-man are dirt cheap. Try to get a system with a lot of games so you do not have to get them seperately and you will pay less for shiping. Besides Atari joysticks and paddles other controllers will work too like the Sega Genesis controller or Colecovision controller. They work well and have many fun games like Pitfall!, Video Olympics, Defender, Missile Comand, Asteroids, Berzerk, Spiderman, Q-bert, Pitfall 2 lost caverns, Pole Postion, and so many more. If you want to relive moments from your childhood or want to experiance your parents joy then buy an Atari 2600 VCS and get ready to travel back to 1977 and later. Have fun!

My 10 and 11 year olds are enjoying this game. It does say it is individual player, but they like to play together. The beginner cards started out way too easy that we thought the game was junk. However, as you try the harder ones, it gets more entertaining. They are enjoying it as something quick to do before school. It is very quick. The issue is I can see after they get through all 40 cards (each one only takes 2-3 minutes each if that!) they may be done with the game. Not sure they will go back and try them all again. I guess we’ll see. For now, it’s cute but probably not for the long haul.

Bought this for my 13 yo son who likes to collect retro games systems. He really enjoys it. Came very well packaged and as described, however in better shape than I thought it would be. Looked great. Plays well. Only downside is adapter for new TV’s, and that’s not shops fault. The screen is a little snowy. I think I may need to buy a better fitting adapter. Came with 10 games, all in good shape. Happy with purchase.
