Taz Wanted

It is an action-adventure video game release in 2002 by Blitz Games. The game features the Looney Tunes character the Tasmanian Devil.

Gameplay

This game has four areas, the first three having the same basic blueprint. But there are three levels in each area, each level having seven posters of some variety that must be destroy with some technique. However, once all seven posters are destroy, a scene will show an area of the level in which something happens that will help Taz Wanted get to the new area, such as a gate opening or something breaking.

But in the new area, Taz gets his hands on something and somehow manages to get it and him back to the HUB. Once the three things are acquire for the area, they can be use to enter a boss arena. The only exception for this is the level Taz Land, in which nothing is brought back. And the final area, with only one level and two bosses. Once the boss defeat Taz is either blown, ship, or chase to the next area. However, to travel between areas, a misplace door is place in each one which transports you to Planet X with all the other doors Taz can travel through. Defeating bosses unlocks their arenas for two-player mode.

Description

Auntie Em! It’s a Twister! Well, he may spin like a tornado and smell like a landfill. But Taz is a fun-loving Tasmanian devil. Now, Taz and his Looney Toon pals are on the Nintendo GameCube.

Go Wild!

So, in this 3D platformer, you control the wild and crazy Taz on his quest to escape Yosemite Zoo. And you will leave a trail of destruction through more than 15 different levels. But at the beginning of each level you will be shown the location of a game Sign that you must destroy. The challenge lies in reaching it.

Yosemite Sam has left a host of hazards behind including train Taz Catchers. Fortunately, you have several abilities to help you escape. Taz can sneak, spin, burp, and bounce his way out of a jam.

Like any good fugitive, Taz dons wacky disguises to evade capture. After stepping into a phone booth, Taz emerges sporting the threads of a skateboarder, cowboy, monster, or other improbable character. Also the change in costume snags him a special attack. For example, as a snowboarder, Taz can bat snowballs at bad guys.

Moreover, Taz can consume sandwiches, bananas, and many other power-ups. Many items that Taz can’t swallow can be spit back at enemies. Also several power-ups, like Hiccup Soda and Mega Hot Chili Peppers, will help in a pinch.

Graphics

This game has a cartoony, cel-shade look. And the bold outlines and detail animation make Taz stand out from the duller-looking enemies and objects.

Also it features appearances from Looney Tunes favorites, including Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck, Tweety Bird, and Sylvester. However, characters have been convert from drawings to digital form faithfully, complete with a sense of humor and voice lines when appropriate.

Looney Tunes fans won’t be able to resist Taz and all his fun disguises. Despite the bland objectives, the 3D levels in game are fun to explore. Fortunately some secondary collecting tasks and two-player minigames extend the replayability of this platformer.

Taz wanted is a really cool game, because it has a lot of things that have to be done. You can unlock mini games and see many levels. You also get to fight bosses like tweety, sam, daffy duck and a huge elefant. The sound is great because it gives life to the game. The game is filled with secreat passways and catchers who will try to catch Taz. The only bad thing about this game is that the colors are so bright that they could give you a headache and taz MOVES SO MUCH that you could get dizzy. Also at first, the posters will not be so eassy to find and destroy, but you must keep trying.(…)P>Good Luck!!!
