Amazing graphics and you can tell they really put the time and effort into making this title. Graphics, again, are amazing, and voice actors are great, Laura’s little quibs are hilarious…Fun to explore each area and some of the puzzles are really hard to complete. The bad? – Tomb Raider? so where are all the tombs? The controls definitely need getting used to. Also, the camera is really bothersome at times, and sometimes Laura’s face fills the whole screen (quite silly).Overall, a great game for one play through. I don’t see any replay value, other than collecting all the items. Awesome graphics and sound, interesting plot (unfortunately leaves open for sequel, so no real ending here)…..worth a rent!!! Enjoy.

I played a previous Tomb Raiders for about 5 minutes only to realize that the game really wasn’t that good. Well, they corrected the problem by pretty much copying the control scheme and puzzle environments of the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, one of the best games in this current console generation. The game is short but sweet. Rarely any frustration, rarely any repeating. Now hardcore gamers would be repulsed by that fact they you never have to repeat the same level over and over again or that you won’t be struggle over and over again. However, for just fun, simple gameplay, it’s pretty good. You play in a few varied levels, an underground cave, in snow, in the jungle, ancient temple. All unique and a sight to behold. The levels have a tremendous amount of checkpoints, so there’s no worries about killing the same people or making the same jump over and over again. The gameplay consists of a mixture of action, adventure, and puzzle. In the puzzles, you’ll have to move a certain rock of climb a certain rock to advance to the next stage. While not difficult, it will sometimes tingle the synaptic nerves now and again. The action is a simple third person shooter, with a few jumps and quite a few enemies. The weapons are standard, the shooting and auto-aim work pretty much like the standard fair. All in all, it’s a standard game done very well. It’s not all perfect though. While this game flows well, there are a few moments where the games don’t work well. Most notabl.

They could have taken another year on this game. I wouldn’t have minded. It came out a lot sooner than I was expecting. And the results are less than perfect. My biggest problem is the camera. It’s way too loose and often difficult to use. My other problem is the length of the game. Too short. Yes, this is probably the best Tomb Raider game ever made, but it could have been so much better if they just took more time on it.Graphics: 4.5Control: 4.0Sound: 4.5Fun Factor: 4.0

Game came in great, nothing is shown, I.e., tear, wear or even scratches on the case or disk, wonderful shop. ‘

Alot of fans will bash this game on the 1 and only thing they can. Length. However for me it wasn’t a problem. Sit back and lemme tell you what this game was meant to do. It isn’t for the loyal Tomb Raider fans that have followed ALL of Lara’s adventures since the early PS1. It was meant for old school TR fans who thought Lara was played out. I loved the original but thought the second one sucked. at PEOPLE ??!!! I’m all for violence, but not when it comes to Lil Lara . I just want her to explore her ancient, beautiful tombs and I’ll quench my bloodlust with my more violent games. Although she’s still cappin shooting people, for the most part its all about the exploration. I haven’t TOUCHED a TR title between II and Legend. Didn’t have to … I could tell they were whack by the titles, “Dark Angel” But this entry is exactly as it states. It goes back to the basics and shows why Tomb Raider is a legend among games.

    LOVE IT!!!!!

After Angel of Darkness, which I did like, people immediately lost hope in getting a fun Tomb Raider, the kind with great gameplay reminiscent of the first installment. After three years though, fear no more for Lara is back in a solid, fun game for everyone to enjoy!!!Graphics: 10/10Okay, the graphics are mind blowing. You definitely feel an epic scale production here, from the massive temples to the intricate details in almost every thing in the environment! The water and other effects are beautiful to look at and even Lara, upon closer inspection, exhibits many different realistic qualities such sa getting wet.The characters, especially Lara, are all greatly well-done. Lara, in particular, is very detailed, moving with grace and showing high fidelity to an actual human person. On the PS2, You may even feel like playing in the next gen consoles! Amazing!!!Gameplay: 10/10Gameplay is great, as compared to the previous installments. The exploration of lost tombs has returned, after departuring from this concept in Angel of Darkness. No more frustration here for Lara moves fluidly and realistically, making her more agile. Also, combat is more fun here. New moves are introduced and the unlimited pistols are re-introduced for more shooting fun! THe long explorations are punctuated with little cut scenes requireing you to press particular buttons to help Lara along a bad situation. These things balance everything out, giving you a wider variety of activities to tackle, including veh.

It’s always good to see a classic gaming icon makes a comeback, especially when she’s a gorgeous lady like Lara Croft. It has been some time since we last saw the tomb raider making her rounds, but in Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend, it seems that she has never been away. In fact, with so much improvement in place, it won’t be an overstatement to call this game the best Tomb Raider game ever. The story begins with a young Lara meeting with a plane crash with her mother. Eager to solve the mystery of the accident, Lara begins a journey that would take her to several locales. And, as expected, each of these locations provides a festival of platforming and puzzles. Controlling the heroine, your task would be to navigate past these environmental challenges, and of course, taking on some baddies in the process. The platforming sequences in the game won’t be much of a problem for the seasoned gamer, especially those who’ve play a game or two of the Prince of Persia series. Apart from the usual climbing and jumping, Lara also makes use of gadgets like a magnetic grapple to forcefully open locked doors, and to reach to a faraway platform, for example. When taking on enemies, Lara can lock on to an enemy and fire shots at them, giving the opportunity for even a poor aimer like me to enjoy the combat. Her movements are also fluid enough to make the all these feel like second nature. In addition, the puzzles in this game are mostly simple enough to crack, but some may require more logic tha.

I feel very pleased.Tomb Raider once again is one of the greatest games ever. Lara Croft comes back with a whole new game. Say bye bye to the old characters that weren’t Lara Croft and hello to new Zip, Allister, and Amanda! Sleek and beautiful graphics bring Lara to life, and all the enviroment around her. Super-easy to control. No more pressing action to grab onto another ledge.Lara Croft now is more believe-able. Now there are guys leading her… Zip and Allister. Zip is the mechanic and Allister is the guide. The british archaelogist now is more sexy and improved! Each level takes place in a different and unique place.. Ranging from deserts to forests to Arctic places.Lara Croft now is much more easier to control. Now the system does not take at least 3 seconds to recognize the action you just pressed. No more annoying action button to press to jump and grab onto another ledge! A completely different control system.. X now is jump, triangle now is action, and square now is the grapple hook.Lara now has a new gadget, the grapple hook. It is a magnetic hook that Lara throws to either: Bring metal things down, or jump across a gap. It is a pretty cool gadget, I could say. There are only 8 levels, but each one is packed with fun.BoliviaPeruJapanGhanaKaziskhatanEnglandNepalBolivia ReduxPersonally, the Kaziskhatan level was the harder of all. Especially that stupid demon who Amanda summoned.New things:Unlockable outfitsThe grapple hookSuper-easy controlsUnlockable people such as.
