Despite the GBA ports, the series never got a true handheld port, but with the release of PSP, the game series finally got it’s first good port of Tony Hawk. A remix version of the PS2/Gamecube/Xbox hit, the game added four more levels, deleted some of the mindless cut scenes, and gave us everything else good about the same old game. A couple faults were seen, but that really dosen’t hurt the game, because the game is still solid, and this port is a great port indeed. The classic gameplay is still here, with no real changes. Since the PSP does not have two analog sticks, you have to use the control pad to do trucks. I am used to the stick, so it took a little whlie to get used to it, but after a whlie, I got the hang of it, and it works like a charm. The graphcis had a little downgrade in terms of visuals, but that’s not really suprising. The game still looks mighty fine though, it sure beats the blocks DS version or the anarchic 2-D visuals. Thanks to the PSP, people can play Ton Hawk on the go, and they still get everything the console version had to offer, plus new levels and a face map editor, which means you can put your face in the game. Pretty cool stuff. Let’s see the DS offer a rich gaming expirence like that. It can’t touch that. You know the gameplay itself is rugged and solid at the same time, but the presentation is not bad either. The graphics are great, as the framerate did not take a dip of any kind. you can see the scenery of the other levels far as th.

Great game, just like the playstation 2 version, minus the create-a-park feature.

this game is very good the controlls are great but if you have already beat thug2 on one of the consoles there arent many extras

This is actually the first THUG game I have played. I have no clue how well the PS2 version handles, and frankly, I don’t care! This game is more than enough fun for me!! It’s controls are a little crazy sometimes (That distracts from the gameplay) but its off-the-wall humor, and crazy situations make it a really incredible game, especially for Tony Hawk game fans!! If you have a PSP and want a fun (Long) game, get this one. You won’t be disapointed!!

in this game there are 4 new levels and more charecters. the graphics ar not as good as the ps2 version butt they are pretty sweet. you have all the create a modes except create a park which is a bummer. i had a glich on mine and my whole body disapeared. i put all the stuff back on my guy but no board because you cant put it back on. the 4 new levels tie in with the story mode. in story mode you get to choose which level you want to go to. you still have the levels you do not choose you just have to go back there unless you dont wanna.buy this game!! the game play is the same as the ps2 version except in here, you run all weird. HERE ARE THE CHEATCODES: (DONT CAPITILIZE IN GAME) PERFECT RAIL-TIGHTROPE. SOME SECRET CHARECTERS: BIRDMAN. type these in correctly and they wiil work. only for the psp though.

Tony Hawk’s Underground 2 for the home consoles were really good Tony Hawk games because they were just a whole lot different from the rest of the games in the series; really unique and strange. Here is my review for THUG2 Remix for the PSP.This game is a lot like the console versions, but there are a few things different about this game. First, the character customization is a little bit better because there is more choices for items to put on your character. Not a lot, but there are a few. Second, the levels appear in different orders, and some of the older levels from past Tony Hawk games appear in this version instead of the console ones. For instance, on both versions you start off in the level Training; which is exactly the same for both versions. But the next level on the PS2 or any other console would have been Boston, but on the PSP it’s Santa Monica, which is in Tony Hawk 2 I believe as well as Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland.Graphics: 8.5/10. The graphics in this game during game play looks very similar to the earlier versions of this game. They look really good for a handheld. There is really just one thing that I don’t like: the vides/cutscenes. Normally in a game the cutscenes have better graphics than the actual in-game graphics, but in THUG 2 Remix, the graphics are actually worse, and the graphics are really glitchy and blurry. The videos are definitely not pretty to watch, but the overall in game graphics look really, really good.Sound: 9/10. The sound is pre.
