You must prove yourself worthy to wield the Light Burden. Play as your favorite characters including Johnny Fireseed, Adon, and Bio Bot Elite. Rage Wars features three distinct modes of gameplay: a single player campaign, a two-player cooperative mode, and a non-cooperative multiplayer mode. 2. Muofassa

Turok is always good. Worked for 5 months

  3. Sammertime

One of the best N64 games ever made. Completely unlike all other Turok games.

This game is ok like i said if you have friends to play multiplayer with. The one player trials are just too hard. right now i have had the game scence December, 2001 and i havent gotten through it yet. But other than that the game has great graphics and cool weapons. This game would be better to rent for a few days to see what you think before you buy this game. And by the sounds of things there is a glitch in 2 player trial i havent tried it out to see if it works yet so you will have to find out yourself.

Made as the console answer to Unreal Tournament and Quake 3 Arena, Turok Rage Wars is a game near and dear to my heart. If this was me telling you my personal score, it’d be a solid 5. However, I can say that Rage Wars has some glaring issues that you should know about. The core progression in Rage Wars is done via "Trials". You pick a character from a fighting game style character select, each with their own starting weapons. Then, you work your way through their tree of missions. Missions go through a variety of game modes and maps, and gradually increase in difficulty. As you complete these missions, you’ll unlock secondary firing modes for your weapons, as well as new weapons for your current character to use. Sometimes, the weapons you unlock might also be beneficial for another character. Someone who may only have one starting weapon by default had three after I did a few trials for other characters, making his trial much less daunting. When you finish the trial, you unlock a new character. The idea is, you ultimately fill out the entire character roster by the end of this.Once you’ve done that, you grab a friend and do it again with the two player trials. You pick any characters for that, and there’s only the one path that occurs for any team.If you don’t want to do this more structured gameplay, you can also just select multiplayer, even if you are alone, and set up a match on any map you like (maps are locked to the gametype they are assigned unfortunately), dro.

A friend and I used to play this game all the time back in the day. Now that we can play it again, it’s still just as much fun now as it was 15 years ago! One of the best multiplayer shoot-em-up’s ever!

The next game in the Turok series, Turok: Rage Wars is Acclaim’s answer to Quake 3 Arena and Unreal Tournament. While it might not have the speed of moving around quite as fast as Unreal Tournament or the posh visuals of Quake 3 Arena(even with the expansion pak); Turok: Rage Wars fits the multiplayer fragfest for the console owners quite nicely. It has new weapons and powerups, over 36 maps to play on, smarter enemy A.I., and is one pretty lengthy game to play. I’ve enjoyed gathering friends together and playing a 4 player deathmatch or Capture the Flag game among others. It’s quite addicting and you can easily waste away hours on the game without even realizing it. If you like to play single player, Rage Wars has that, too, but expect it to be something of a training session for when you do get into the multiplayer component. Besides, you have to play Single player to unlock player skins and secret characters.Despite it’s not being quite a Quake 3 Arena or Unreal Tournament, I still love Turok Rage Wars. It’s strength is in it’s multiplayer modes and that alone is worth getting this game for. You and your friends will love it.
