Since time began, Turok has maintained the balance between good and evil with the Light Burden. A vessel that holds the power of creation. Now, fierce wars are fought for control. You must prove yourself worthy to wield the Light Burden. Play as your favorite characters including Johnny Fireseed, Adon, and Bio Bot Elite. Rage Wars features three distinct modes of gameplay: a single player campaign, a two-player cooperative mode, and a non-cooperative multiplayer mode. You must relive the challenge of your ancestors and survive the Rage Wars!

Really fun game, even though sometimes it is challenging and the 2-Player Trails don’t work… Amazingly fun game. get it

This is one of the first games I ever played and liked on N64. Its quite different from the other Turok games that I’ve tried, but it has a kind of Halo feel to the Multiplayer, which is what I really liked about it since I could play with my friends. The Chestburster is the best weapon in the game, it’s totally worth the effort needed to unlock it.

I game I missed back in the day much better then the yearly CoD games we always get and works well

The next game in the Turok series, Turok: Rage Wars is Acclaim’s answer to Quake 3 Arena and Unreal Tournament. While it might not have the speed of moving around quite as fast as Unreal Tournament or the posh visuals of Quake 3 Arena(even with the expansion pak); Turok: Rage Wars fits the multiplayer fragfest for the console owners quite nicely. It has new weapons and powerups, over 36 maps to play on, smarter enemy A.I., and is one pretty lengthy game to play. I’ve enjoyed gathering friends together and playing a 4 player deathmatch or Capture the Flag game among others. It’s quite addicting and you can easily waste away hours on the game without even realizing it. If you like to play single player, Rage Wars has that, too, but expect it to be something of a training session for when you do get into the multiplayer component. Besides, you have to play Single player to unlock player skins and secret characters.Despite it’s not being quite a Quake 3 Arena or Unreal Tournament, I still love Turok Rage Wars. It’s strength is in it’s multiplayer modes and that alone is worth getting this game for. You and your friends will love it.

Loved this game as a kid. Could spend countless hours either playing with my brothers or playing the character campaigns by myself. There are tons of maps that are a joy to play in (especially the turret maps!). This game really deserves a remaster like the first two Turok games received. If you are interested though, I say the N64 version holds up just fine.
Leonardo –
The game was pretty dirty, but I like how n64 games are used.
