OMG! Let’s just say this one did it for me. I wasn’t too sure about the first two in the series, but this third one was the tipping scale and now I’m seriously hooked. What I love: We finally get answers to who Haven is. In the first two books, we knew that Haven was different in that she was mortal, and yet possessed some really strong magick. Much was revealed and explained in this third installment…so if you previously felt lost or frustrated, stay strong because you’ll get your answers in this one.Stolas…(sigh). Oh he totally won my heart in this one. I mean, he was already an intriguing character that I wanted…no needed to know more about. And we get so much of him in this one. I always loved him for Haven and I’m so glad we got more scenes between the two of them. Every time they were together left me smiling and swooning. He is everything I love in a male love interest. He was protective of Haven, yet not overbearing. Instead of trying to fight Haven’s battles or preventing her from getting into dangerous situations, he knew her strengths and allowed her to figure things out on her own. He also taught her to love both her light and dark side. I can’t wait to see more of them in future books, even though we know it will take Haven some time after the whole Archeron thing.Speaking of…(spoilers) I was crushed by the turn of events with Archeron. Even though I never felt like he was right for Haven, I’m still saddened by how things are turning out for him. Which isn.

The book started off a little slow. I usually devour books in 1-2 days but it took me a couple days to get through the first 1/3 of the book. After that I completely devoured the book ðŸ˜Once the characters made it to the tournament the story picked up a lot. I really enjoyed how the plot was so fast paced at this point. There was also a lot of similarities to ACOMAF… maybe even a little *too* many similarities between the two.I kind of wish Ravenna had played a bigger part. It seemed like she was just kind of there to play the bad guy because she didn’t really have any screen time. It made the relationship between Stolas and Haven feel too easy because they basically got to hangout whenever, as long as they used a cloaking spell.Overall, I really enjoyed this book! I would have given it 5 stars if the beginning hadn’t been so slow. I absolutely can’t wait for the next book!!

Wow, she did it again. I can’t say much without spoiling but once again, I felt all the emotions. Sometimes, I thought the story would go one way but ended up going another just as great direction. I can’t wait for the next one already!

This my favorite so far in the series! All the books are very good and wait for book four to come out!!

I dont know why sex scenes gets people upset. Same negative reviews occured for the Sarah J Maas A Court of Thrones and Rose’s series. The romancy bits made the ride totally fun and exciting. The negatives I want to talk about is about Audrey Grey’s writing style. Sometimes I feel like a little more detail is needed for me to fully follow. I found myself rereading parts because it could have been written more clearly. Also, I read this before the audiobook was released and I think that may be why I enjoyed this book so far better than the rest in the series.Looking forward to the next.

Loved this book and how it really moved the story along. I couldn’t put it down and felt so excited for the new developments. Can’t wait for the next book. Not giving anything away, but this is the romance I’ve been waiting for.

I don’t give out 5 stars a lot but this 3rd book was great all around , better than the 1st book even (which is super rare for me to ever say)Only complaint is that foreshadowing is a little thick where it almost makes the ending too obvious at a point , but that’s just me I prefer some more twists but overall great read and I read in one dayI just hope she has enough room to grow with the next book character wise to keep it interesting
The Hormans –
I already have the date of the next book’s release marked on my calendar because the writing, story building and character depth is beyond superb! The attention to detail is extraordinarily meticulous and I have a huge crush on this writer’s ability to bring multiple twists and turns into a cohesive and riveting series that makes you want to cheer and cry simultaneously. The Kingdom of Runes series will be listed in my top five favorite series for sure!
