This is a solid entry to the WarioWare series. It has the same charm and feel as some of the original games that makes it so fun to play!My first impression was that this game does appear to be relatively short. There are some things WarioWare tries to do to extend your fun with different modes, variations, and unlockables. People who just care about beating the main story seeing the credits role will complete this game the fastest. I think it took my under an hour of play to beat the story. BUT, there’s so much more! WarioWare Gold also incorporates different Challenge modes that are very addicting to play. I found myself playing the "WarioWatch" Challenge the most which has you racing against a clock to complete as many mini games as you can before you run out of time. "Sneaky Gamer" also makes a return, which really got my heart racing because I could relate. In addition to that, to unlock all the microgames you have to go back and play the story mode stages again to best your old high score. WarioWare tries to switch it up by having 2-5 different versions of each of the microgames so you don’t feel like you’re doing the same thing over and over again. That being said, it probably took me 3 hours to get all the microgames in the Index. But I keep going back for more of the microgame fun to see all the different variations. Ultra mode is my favorite because it keeps you on your toes; you never know which controls it’ll make you use next. There’s also a Capusle.

I was on the fence at first about buying this game. I love the Wario Ware series but wasn’t sure if a greatest hits type of game would be worth it. I am glad I decided to buy though because this game isn’t just a greatest hits it offers more. I had hours of fun playing this game and feel it is one of the bests in the series.

Very fun, don’t stop playing after you beat it, the story mode is just the tutorial

WarioWare is one of my favorite game series ever. I’ve been with the series since the Gamecube release, so when I saw this, I just had to check it out. Let me tell you, if you love WarioWare, stop reading this and buy the game now. But for those who need a bit more convincing, read on.The story (and for once, this game has a legit story, contain your shock) is that Wario sneaks into a faraway village to steal a fancy pot. He is successful in doing so, but the trip leaves him broke. Rather than sell the pot, he decides to hold a tournament, with a Ten-Thousand-coin entry fee, but the winner gets ten million coins. Of Course, Wario can’t be bothered to make the games himself, so he suckers in his longtime friends to do that for him, promising them a cut of the profits. Friends include Mona, Jimmy T., Dribble and Spitz, 9-Volt, 5-Volt, 18-Volt, Kat and Ana, Red and Ashley, Dr. Crygor, Penny, Young Cricket and Master Mantis, and Orbulon. Little does Wario know, a mysterious girl is after him. Though the story is outright silly, it’s very familiar to longtime WarioWare fans, so I felt right at home.Gameplay wise, WW Gold is both old and new. Old in the sense you’ll be playing Microgames and seeing a lot of odd things, but new in the sense of a few things. This time, the games are not divided up based on characters, but by how they are played. There’s four game categories: Mash, where you must press the D Pad and the A button (the circle is more comfortable to me) Twist,.

I wish they made these more often. Super fun game.

My kid was really happy with the game, though he finished it in a few days.
