I was really getting this one for the kids but I was shocked at how much I play this one with them. The mini-games are awesome and they are not too long. I have a 4 year old, 7 year old, and 10 year old and this game is balanced where even my 4 year old can win some of the mini-games. I like the variety of games too. I didn’t really care for a couple of the mini-games like hiding the wii remote in the room but my 4 year old loves that game so I have to play it. LOL! If you are looking for a fun game for the entire family then this is it. There’s not anything that I would consider to be inappropriate for kids either. Good fun with some nice action to get your blood pumping every now and then. I think this is one of the Wii games that we are going to be playing for a while. We have had it for a couple of months and we are still playing the heck out of this game. I paid a lot more for this game than what the price is now and it was over $25 when I bought it. Get this one today!

Great family party game. No doubt about it. My only wishes (so far)…1) I like that the minigames aren’t really long, but a bit longer would be nice. Most last between 5 and 20 seconds. 20-40 might be better. Or longer versions of them in a different section would be really cool.2) I also wish you could switch who’s playing without exiting the minigame section. When playing with a group of people we often end up playing with other people’s miis. This isn’t a super big deal, but when you play with the wrong mii, records are kept inaccurately, and it’s hard for spectators to keep track of who’s who. It would also be helpful for the “1 vs 3” games – it would allow participants to take turns being Player “1”.3) I guess the other “mii” games are like this too, but when playing against the CPU, I wish they’d pick a random mii of mine as my opponent, rather than a character they’ve created.4) Some parts have time limits that aren’t really necessary. For example, in the Friend Connection game, participants are asked a series of questions, but are only given 5 seconds to answer each question. This is fine for adults, but not really long enough for young beginning readers.5) And maybe this should be #1… Replays!! Most games end without an instant replay of the action. People love seeing the replays!6) Records (personal bests and overall for the minigame) should be accessible from within the game, while playing. And, why pre-stock the records with phony scores for prete.

We purchased this game hoping that our soon-to-be six year old twins would be able to play along. It would be an understatement if I said Wii Party has been a big hit with the kindergarten crowd in our house. After some initial help learning the controls on the various minigames my kids have really taken to the game. They love “Board Game Island” and ask to play at least twice a week.Is it Mario Party? No, it’s not. It’s fun in a whole different way. My kids love seeing their little Mii’s play in the various minigames, and the rules for the board game are easy for them to comprehend. The adult puzzle game addict that I am, I really enjoy the “Marching Orders” and “About Face” challenge games. They are addictive and tons of fun if you enjoy the “match a bunch of colors to clear a board” sort of “Art Style” games.Overall, it’s been money well spent.

My family has a fairly extensive Wii Games Library including pretty much all the major market games. We got Wii Party about 1 month ago and my 11 year old daughter and 8 year old son have been enjoying it immensely to say the least. The other games have not got much of a look-in since Wii Party arrived. That there are so many games included, all very wholesome, including many that test cognitive / mental ability in an entertaining way, is a huge plus. Even my wife has been getting into it and she is not much of a gamer! Whilst I have not had the time to take a very close look myself, I feel I am in position to recommend, and do so unreservedly!

When I saw the trailer for this game I got really excited after my HUGE disappointment with Mario Party 8 a few years ago, Mario Party modes were really slow. It took forever for everyone to roll the dice and read all the message boxes and everything, and then the minigame was just 20 seconds long. Wii party modes are faster, better and more fun!The minigames use not only all the possibilities we’ve seen in mario party or rayman RR with the Wiimote but there are some of the new ones that my friends and I were really impressed with. As with most of the party games, it is for all ages, we had 9 year olds and 60 year olds too and we all had a lot of fun, it took some more explaining with some…Don’t mind the bad review about the japanese language, it is NOT Japanese! I understand how for parents with little kids it would be a better option to have an audio explanation of each game, but I think none of the mario party games did it… so there is no point in complaining about the lack of it.GREAT GAME!

Wii Party — as the name suggested, it’s a party, so you ought not to play by yourself. Invite some friends, buy more wiimotes, only then will you get the most fun out of it.The games are not as fun for a single player. The mini games are too short, and longer games like board games are not fun playing with the AI. So on this part, I disappointed. But, if you have friends and 4 wiimotes, Wii Party is for you. It’s more fun playing with your friends. There are many variety of mini games that will keep you interested and excited. However, my suggestion would have each player has his or her own wiimote. Some games requires 4 wiimotes in order for you to play, and you can’t share a wiimote. So, my point is, play with friends and 4 wiimotes.. otherwise, it might not be as fun.

We have two children, ages 7 and 9. Wii Party is a great game for the whole family. There are so many minigames targeting lots of different skills. That plus luck means that even the younger players have a chance to win. I also love the collaborative games like bobsledding that require communication and working together. There are games like bingo, shooting cans, a cool matching game with Miis that move around, airplane flying, a wheel of fortune thing, a geography game, races and so much more. It is also cool that all the Miis you create can join in the fun. We love playing Wii Party on our Friday family nights.

This product was received just as advertised. It was new in the plastic and it was a hit with our family. We love to play the games on Wii Party. It’s a great way to get EVERYBODY

I bought this for our family game night. It has a lot of games and mini games to choose from, making it well worth the money. I like the fact that you can pick from 1-4 players on many of the games, some of which you play one at a time and others you play simultaneously. I also like that it tells you the approximate time it will take to complete the game. Also, I like the fact that some of the games require you to interact with other players instead of just staring at a tv with a remote in your hand. The reason why I selected a Wii console in the first place was because of the opportunity to turn a video game into something more active for my kids. That isn’t always the case with many of the games for the Wii, but this one fits the bill with many of the games requiring you to exert some energy in order to complete the goal. I highly recommend this game for families, kids’ playdates with friends, and even adult guests and parties.

On the dark side:1. Sometimes controls are not really sensitive enough.2. There is no way to avoid AI opponents if you have only 3 opponents – even though almost all minigames would work just fine with only 3 players.3. Most game modes (other then just picking individual minigames) require more then 30 mins (we don’t let our child to play for more then 30 mins)On the bright side:1. Lots of game modes – there is 4 player competitive games, 3 vs 1 games, 1 vs 1 competitive and 2 player cooperative.2. Great selection of minigames so every player can pick several favorites. Some games require luck, some require mastery of wiimote and some require reaction or quick thinking.
