Good game to have to your collection, especially compared to the WWE Game now

I bought this game several weeks ago and unlike most games, I’m still not tired of it! Graphics,Gameplay,Storylines,Create a Wrestler, You name it It’s Great!(with the exception of perhaps the load times)They could use giving the game more wrestlers and/or a patch to get more wrestlers. The legends are great! Every single one is incredibly authentic.5 stars all the way!

First off let me say that I am not a wrestling fan. I used to be,I still like playing the games sometimes. I had alot of fun playing Smackdown Bring it On with my 5 yr old nephew(whom I cant beat)I thought I’d pick this up because of its price. On to my review. This game is a very very amazing game for PSP. The graphics are very sweet and realistic. I know the PSP is notorious for short games but Smackdown vs. Raw offers alot of cool features and unlockables. This game has many many wrestlers, which is a cool thing so you dont have the same repetitious match all the time. The controls are pretty easy to learn but what the game lacks is customizable controls which means you cant map out controls that are comfortable to you but once you learn them it wont be a problem. They are not that difficult to get used too.My BIG complaint is the awful, horrid load timesGet this game even if you are not a wrestling fan its worth it

THE SHORT: It’s amazing how similar this is to the PS2 version. Little changes are made- a much more basic Locker room, a less animated crowd, and a little less smooth wrestlers. Aside from that, this game is stuffed. It’s got the same roster, same match types, same modes (even GM, season, and create modes) and even all the storyline voices and events are included. It’s pretty amazing for such a tiny format, but the load times can be a drag.THE LONG: I have an extremely detailed review here of the PS2 game, so if you haven’t played either you should check it out to see how the game stacks up to others. I’m going to continue assuming you’ve played the PS2 version, because they’re honestly so identical that I don’t want to repeat that review here. If you’d rather not read that lengthy review, I’ll just say that SDVR2K6 is a very robust wrestling game, full of customization and a good roster. If you’re a fan of the Smackdown series, you’ll probably like the new modes and customization offered in this entry. The only major changes to the Smackdown formula is the addition of more cool new stuff, though the AI could have been better. Now onto the PSP version. In general, this is a fantastic portable wrestling package. Every wrestler and match type from the PS2 is here, and you can even fuss around for hours creating wrestlers, movesets, belts, and entrances. The storyline, or season mode, didn’t suffer either since all the animations and voices are still included. Aside from those l.

    love it

This game is great…Graphics are good. Storyline is great. BUT, the loading takes forever and a day. Other than that the game shoould be pretty much enjoyable by any wwe fan or person who likes fight games.

  7. Quantum Apotheosis

Graphics are great is almost as good as the ps2 absolutely amazing ! all the gameplay of the original plus exclusive content to psp!

  8. JarenReinger

This Is A Really Excellant Game ….. The Only Negative With This Game is The Really Poor Load Times. Everything else Really Runs Well …. The Graphics are great and there are many cool tunes the enterances which take a long time to load are Very Realistic ….. Overall a 4 Star is in order.

  9. Wrestling head

I personally love this game. I am a handheld and wrestling fan so I knew this was a must have. There are awesome features such as gm mode and all the matches that are in the ps2 version. If you love wrestling games and have a psp you must buy this. Don’t worry about season because 2 full non-reapeting season modes appear in the psp version. S.vs.R for psp is a BODY SLAM IN YOUR POCKET!!!

  10. Ezekiel Tillman

This game is without a doubt one of the best WWE video games in the past decade. If not, one of the greatest of all time. Graphics look very good despite the game’s release back in 2005. Gameplay is simple and easy to catch as play more and more matches. Controls are good and have good rhythm. Overall despite the games age , this game I give a 9 out of 10. I recommend this game to anybody who loves WWE back in the Ruthless Agression Era
