WWE WrestleMania XIXÂ
WWE WrestleMania XIX is a professional wrestling video game released for the GameCube by THQ in 2003. Based on the professional wrestling promotion World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). It is the sequel to WWE WrestleMania X8. However, the roster consists of around sixty-nine WWE wrestlers between May 6, 2002 and March 31, 2003. As the WWE was beginning to shift its momentum from the Attitude Era into the Ruthless Aggression Era.
Unlike the previous game and other contemporary WWE games. WrestleMania XIX does not feature a conventional story/career mode in which players control a particular wrestler in a series of matches. Instead, the game features “Revenge Mode” a mission-based mode in which players try to achieve certain goals in various locations outside of the ring. Also most of the background music of the game was in the Xbox game WWE Raw 2. And the PlayStation 2 game WWE SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain.
Revenge Mode
In Revenge Mode, players can select any superstar on the roster (except for Stephanie McMahon and Vince McMahon) or a create superstar. So the story begins with the player being drag out of an arena by security guards and literally toss into the street. Later, the player encounters Stephanie McMahon. But Stephanie notices that the player wants revenge on Vince McMahon for firing them. And the player and Stephanie devise a plan to ruin Vince’s flagship pay-per-view, WrestleMania. But to do this, the player is sent to various locations and must combat workers and wrestlers hire as security (both authentic and created who are generate and unlock randomly) they encounter in each location. With objectives such as disrupting a construction site, sinking a WWE own shipment barge. And destroying a mall that was set up for fan festivities.
After the player completes objectives in the perimeter areas, they fight Vince at WrestleMania XIX in a match. However, if the player wins, Stephanie appears to congratulate the player. But immediately regrets the deal, getting spear by Goldberg and seemingly disappearing into cash.

I know you guys can’t get out of your nostalgic rose glasses, but this game is prettymuch exactly like no mercy except with a way better roster, and it just blows Wrestlemania 2000 away. It is worth noting that It’s for Gamecube, so it’s playable on most Nintendo Wiis. Be careful which shops you purchase from however, many scammers are selling this item off as rewrapped in shrink wrap, or saying the condition is better than it is. I had issues with that myself. the game itself however, 4 out of 5 stars easily. If you liked no mercy, you’ll love this game, and perhaps even prefer it!

It’s fun but at the same time it can be a little tricky, especially when you have it in expert mode. I really don’t have to say any more than that.
Kane's Review –
Released in Summer 2003, loosely based off the PPV, Wrestlemania XIX was only the second WWE video game to be release on the Gamecube. Serving as a sequel to the trash game that was Wrestlemania X8 that was released the previous year, Wrestlemania XIX was 10x better and has been held in a positive light by WWE fans worldwide since 2003.For starters, game developers took the typical season mode you’d expect in a WWE game and put a spin on it. Season Mode was renamed Revenge Mode and rather than picking a wrestler to play as on either or Raw or Smackdown, working your way up to Wrestlemania, they presented Revenge Mode. The premise of the story is that Vince McMahon has humiliated and unjustly fired you from WWE and has you thrown out into the streets like trash. However, a beacon of light in the form of Stephanie McMahon comes to your aid. She presents to you a master plan to get revenge on Vince by sabotaging Wrestlemania 19. In order to accomplish this, you’re sent on a series of missions to various locations to attack and take out several characters in addition to destroying WWE property. The tasks will not be easy and along the way, Vince will send out fellows superstars from the locker room to help put a beat down on you. Completing all your missions successfully will lead you to a final showdown with Vince McMahon at Wrestlemania.Revenge Mode is a lot like playing an action/thriller movie. While fun, the mode is also dark as most of the challenges will require you kill yo.
A wrestling fan –
This game is good. There is a lot more realism in the game. The main complaint is revenge mode and I have to agree. The plot is pretty weak, but the environements are good. The versus play has been improved greatly. Finally you can slam a guy through the top portion of a cell and the buying weapons bit is pretty cool. They are missing a few things. You can’t go backstage like in here comes the pain and the elimination chamber match is missing. This game is pretty good buy for any wrestling fan, but I do advise Smackdown here Comes the Pain if you have a PS2.

pretty good but could use a little more of the create a super star selection. they also could have spent a little more time on the graphics. and, i hate that u can reverse every single move easily. so this game will be good but i recommend only playing it against computers or turning off reversels or somthing cause otherwise u wont be able to do anything to another human player.

Last night I played Goldberg vs Brock in a cage match and IJackhammered Brock off the top of the cage. Guess he landed onthe floor in Goldberg’s jackhammer position pin, and I won.The arena that I played in was at Wrestlemania. Next match I played in was also at that same arena was in a Ironman matchpin falls anywhere also my favorite BLOOD!!!!! On Smackdown Iwas on the titantron and Brock was landing on the titantron andI spear him and I jackhammered him and got the victory. If youare a Goldberg fan well here’s his website Thank you. if you want to email me about the game here’s my emailaddress [email protected]

Really WrestleMania XIX is kinda kool. The Hell in a Cell is unbelivable. The graphics are beyond the first WrestleMania, and the Create-a-Player mode is kool. But the only thing that is wrong about it is the Story Mode. I also wish it could be in the ring. Why do u have to beat up Secuity officers and workers, why can u beat up wrestlers. ANyWaY, the missions will piss u off bad.and 1 complaint about the Create-a-Player is its to long. But other then that its pretty kool.

I loved this game. It was truely amazing. The gameplay was at its best, of any other game. The characters very very well done, alot of wrestlers really looked like them. The story line (revenge) took some skill to beat. Of course the first couple of levels were easy. But after a few levels it got really challenging. They were fun, to play each level and to watch me go through the scenario.By far the best part of this game was the create-a-superstar. I’ve probably spent more time making various characters, then actually playing. With so much unique attairs, hair styles, etc., it made it almost endless for creating anyone you wanted. This game is always fun and exciting to play, even after beating the revenge mode and buying out everything in the shop, down to the last ability points (out of 999), I still play this game, over and over again.
